Did anyone in Round 5 of admissions for MiM receive any updates ?

I applied for the HEC Masters in Management program, and still haven’t received any follow up emails or updates via my portal.

They state that June 11th was the deadline for admissibility results, but no word on that, and the admission results are due in a few days from now (June 24th).

Has anyone else in round 5 received any updates, or know of any delays? Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

Applying for Equal Opportunity Scholarship - what documents do I need to submit?

I am preparing to apply for HEC Paris (MiM) this year. As I know, for Need-based scholarships such as Equal Opportunity Scholarship I need to prepare financial statements but on the websites they do not disclose what materials I need to submit for this scholarship.

Can anyone having experience with this share with me what documents I need to prepare? My family income currently is being spent on my mother's chemotherapy but I am afraid if my family gross income is not low then I might not have the chance to receive this scholarship even though the monetary focus is on my mother's treatment.

Thanks.

Advice :)

Hi everyone,

I’m thinking about applying to HEC Paris, for the MiM and the more I read, the more questions I seem to have .I’d really like to hear from people who are currently enrolled, have received an offer recently, or have graduated within the last few years. Even a short conversation would be hugely valuable.

Most of what I’m curious about isn’t the kind of information you can easily find through rankings, webinars, or the school’s website. I’m interested in the real experience what student life is like, how the community feels, whether the degree delivered what you expected, the biggest surprises, and any lessons you learned along the way.

If you’d be willing to share your thoughts or answer a few questions, I’d genuinely appreciate it. Thanks a lot for your time and help! 🙏

HEC Paris Jan '27 R5 - Anyone got an interview invite yet?

Applied in R5 for the Jan '27 intake and the waiting game has officially begun 😅

Has anyone received an interview invite yet? If yes, when did you submit your application and when did the invite come through?

Figured it'd be useful to have a thread where we can track updates and timelines.

Good luck everyone.. hoping for good news all around 🤞🍀

Advice on studying masters

Hi!
I'm planning to apply to HEC Paris (looking at the MiM or the Master in Strategic Management) and I'm at that stage where I research deep into the rabbit hole and still feel like I don't really know too much lol

Would love to hear from anyone who's been admitted recently, is currently studying there, or graduated in the last few years. Even just a few answers over DMs would genuinely help me so much

There's stuff I want to know that you just can't find anywhere online — like what the vibe is actually like, whether it's worth it, what you wish you'd known before applying, things like that

Anyway, if you have a few minutes and don't mind sharing your experience, please reach out! I'd really appreciate it 🙏

Realistic chances for LSE/HEC/Bocconi/St. Gallen MSF

Trying to get a realistic read on my chances before paying application fees across all four schools.

Stats:
- BA Economics from T500 globally, GPA 8.2/10 (circumstances + upward trend). Not India!
- Work exp: ~10 months in Audit at EY
- IELTS: 7.5
- GMAT FE: 675
- Goals: London IB, CEE/Poland deal flow focus

My main concern is the GPA. There were circumstances that held me back from getting perfect scores, but do AdComs really care? Can I be forgiven for solid, but not an ideal GPA?

Application fee payment process issue

Hey all.

I am trying to arrange the payment of the Application fee required for MSc Data Science and AI for Business. But it keeps popping up an error with quoting (see the screenshot below).

Have you ever faced this issue? Is it related to my location, or is it an HEC-side problem?

Online payment

Country: Armenia.

Thanks in advance.

Admissions team not responding

Hey guys!

I had some questions to ask the Admissions Team, and they did not reply for almost 2 days.

Usually it took them 15-20 minutes, but this time it feels like they are not working or smth else.

Is there any other way to ping them, except the e-mail and official website form?

Maybe there is somebody in there I can ask to help me with that?

Thanks in advance.

HEC needs consolidated Transcript from KU for incomplete studies

Hi everyone,

I completed 3 semesters of a BSc of Microbiology program at KU back in 2018 but did not finish the degree. Now I’m in Canada and need my KU transcripts attested by HEC so they can be sent to WES for admissions into another program here. I’m really stressed about my HEC/WES transcript situation and wanted to ask if anyone has gone through something similar.

I already submitted the individual 3 semester transcripts I had, but HEC sent my application back with this message:

“Please Upload BS official consolidated transcript as well and select the correct program name for attestation.”

The problem is the consolidated transcript. I contacted a few people at KU and they told me KU usually does not issue a consolidated transcript for incomplete degrees/programs. I already completed another degree in canada and had an ICAS evaluation for that, but this new Canadian school specifically requires WES, and WES is asking for HEC-attested documents from KU. how to contact HEC? does HEC attest incomplete transcripts?

Has anyone dealt with HEC/WES for an incomplete degree or incomplete semesters from KU? Were you able to get a consolidated transcript somehow, or did HEC accept separate semester transcripts?Any advice would really help. Thank you.

Interview Scheduling

Does the order you take your interview in matters or is it better to pick the time when you feel you'd be the most prepared? Does the final jury review profiles progressively (and hence it's better to go early) or only after all interviews have been conducted?

What's the average age of the HEC MSc Marketing cohort?

Thinking of applying with 3-4 years of work experience, graduated undergrad in 2023. Is this is too "experienced" or "old" for the MSc Marketing cohort?

Chance me for HEC 2027 (MIF)

Hi everyone, I would really appreciate your opinion on my chances of being admitted to the Master in International Finance at HEC Paris.

I am currently in the third year of my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in banking, insurance and financial markets and I will graduate in March 2027, so I plan to apply for the 2027 intake.

My current profile:

GPA: around 26/30 on the Italian scale (~3.0–3.1), which is not particularly high due to some personal difficulties I faced during my studies.
Extracurricular activities: I am the President and Founder of a student association at my university, focused on finance and economics. Language: English and Italian (native)

Given this, what GMAT score would give me a strong chance of admission? And more importantly, what could I realistically do between now and the application to strengthen my profile?

Thank you!

HEC Paris MSc Marketing – GRE, coursework, and student life?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently considering applying to the MSc in Marketing at HEC Paris and had a few questions. I’d really appreciate hearing from current students or alumni.

First, I’m a bit unsure about the GRE requirement. I’ve seen that it’s not always mandatory, but I wanted to understand how important it actually is in practice. Would having a strong GRE score significantly improve my chances, or is it more of an optional bonus?

I’m also curious about the academic experience.

What is the coursework like on a weekly basis?

Is it more exam-heavy or coursework/project-based?

Are there a lot of group projects or presentations?

How intense is the workload overall?

Additionally, I’d love to hear about your overall experience in the program.

Do you feel the course is more practical (e.g. real business cases, industry projects) or more theoretical?

How supportive are professors and career services?

Finally, I’m really interested in student life and living experience:

What is campus life like at HEC?

How is living in/near Paris as a student (cost, social life, daily routine)?

Do most students stay on campus or commute?

Any insights, honest opinions, or advice would be super helpful. Thanks a lot in advance!

Acceptance Chances Post-Interview

Hello,

Had a quick question,

For HEC Paris Masters applicants, once you’re invited to do the masters interview, does that usually mean you have a strong chance of admission if the interview doesn't go really bad, or is there still a significant cutoff after the interview? (Basically trying to understand the post-interview acceptance rate)

Thanks!
