For me, whatever has been happening in Delhi is not a political issue. It is a moral one.

It is quite evident who is wrong, given what has happened in Delhi. Perhaps I am mistaken.

So, let us set politics aside for a moment and focus instead on the violation of human rights and our constitutional rights. Citizens should be able to protest peacefully without fearing for their lives. Police brutality that happened on19th was outrageous. I wonder, whether those responsible have abandoned their moral values altogether. It seems that many people in positions of power have become cynical and devoid of conscience, showing little or no remorse for their actions. That is precisely why accountability is so important.

I sympathize with the families who lost their children and with those who were injured over these two days. Hired thugs placed to create turmoil, and the police provoking students to justify the use of force.

One of the incidents for which Bhagat Singh was tried and ultimately executed by the British was the killing of British police officer, carried out in an attempt to avenge the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, who died after suffering from a brutal police lathi charge.

It is futile to debate with extremists or fanatics. Many seem uncertain of what they truly stand for or where their ideals lie.

Thinking rationally and independently is not difficult. Have we become so shallow-minded that we cannot form our own opinions and instead blindly defend whatever is fed to us? My dad(an ex-servicemen )said that he has the best idea to stop all this ongoing stuff , these were his exact words :-

I was like damn.... How did he get to this solution, his so called IDEA

Honestly, these people don't understand the importance of this protest. It's not just even about justice for paper leaks and fair exampination system, it is now about whether the ruling party gives two fucks about you or not. If this protests gets crushed down or labeled as anti national or soros whatever, then beware that BJP won't give a flying fuck to any of your problems. This protest failing, will give them a free pass to do whatever they want.

The media is shaping the new narrative of this protest as something anti national, and that, protesters are beating up police personnels. Most of the ppl in their 30s to 50s watch TV as their main source of news, even newspaers like dainik jagran is shaping this protest as china funded, man. How far will they go down, how far?????

Its been 3 days... and many of you have been participating in protest to ask for your rights and asking the resignation of illiterate, incapable ministers because its the matter of your future and whole country's future

But I really want to share advices because its really concerning

1. Lathi charge, tear bombs , stampede are seriously dangerous please if you are going in protest and got hurt then please go back to home/hostel or your accomodation where you live don't stay at protest site when things go beyond control. I have seen people supporting each men and women both but understand this thing you guys have a life and family sp please when protest turns into lathi charge, violence etc... please run for your life, go back home stay safe
2. Those who got injured during the protest please rest , visit doctor, recover.. Life is more valuable. In this shit af country country no one goes in govt service to serve they only go to loot and destroy the country (most people dream of becoming the officer to change their lives via bribes not to serve - example you are looking officers these days) in every possible way... so please don't risk your precious life... rest and recover, get well soon... you did your contribution.. really appreciate...Thanks

3. I have seen videos and posts stating that students or volunteers are missing, no information regarding their whereabouts and its really scary they are students, some are living in delhi away from family due to studies and also they are participating in protests as well.. might be possible no at their home knows about it and we know how good our system is with respect to the service they are supposed to provide... so who gonna find those kids ?? these corrupt officers ??? I'm just speechless tbh, I pray that those children return safely.

I urge everyone to act accordingly and don't waste your precious and valuable life ...Life of every student is valuable..., You guys have already faced alot mentally, socially, politically and some of you.. left family, left friends, left the activities you loved doing, left home to study, some of you study + work too... but please have patience don't risk your life

What have we turned into?

When I was a child, I used to look up at our government as someone to respect. The largest democracy in our world. My parents said "If you ever feel unsafe and we're not around, go to a police station. The people there will treat you well".

And in democracies, peaceful protests happen, and it's the people's right to do so, and one's happening right now, but lord, my lord, the stuff we're looking at right now?

100+ protesters injured, 7 year old child hurt, women being harassed, using expired tear gas rounds, using batons with nails on it, who are police dealing with, criminals? Rapists? Terrorists? THEY'RE DEALING WITH STUDENTS FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!

And the police too, is following the government's orders as if they collectively chose a sodium free diet. I wonder how they sleep in the night after hitting students and peaceful protestors. THEY POINTED GUNS AT PEACEFUL PROTESTERS! These sick fucks would've fired with zero hesitation I bet.

And you know the worst thing I've learnt from this protest?

1. The government doesn't give a fuck. A man hasn't eaten for a month in protest, and they took him away against his own will. Protest happening for a month, and ZERO action by them. They're shoving it in our faces.

2. The so-called "free press" freely chose to NOT cover the protest till day 17 of the protest. It was delayed, the news channels are actively manipulated by the state and they warp the narrative for the unassuming.

And one other thing. When lawyers took the issue of police brutality to the CJI with proper evidence, his response was "no time to watch videos".

I'm truly disappointed in India. I'm disappointed in the government. Where's the India whose idea was sold to us? What happened to "for the people, by the people, of the people"? Don't we listen to problems? We are not North Korea. We are not Israel. We are not Nazi Germany.

We're a democracy. We're India

And still, they manage to disappoint.

Well it has been 3 years since I moved out of my parents house and have been living alone. Earlier I was too skeptical about leaving my hometown and going to another City to workn but in the hindsight I realised that it was the best decision I took. I lament that I should have left my parents house a bit earlier. My best advice to the youth would be that is truth leave their parents house at the earliest opportunity available. This all the list of things that I did which won't be possible if I were living with my parents. Indian parents are very nosy. They won't let they are kids to leave your life independently even if you are in your early 20s. Here's the list of things that I tried and which have me a new perspective in life.

- had an amazing dating life. Dated a few girls. Infact, I had my first date at the age of 26 😭😭

- Tried alcohol for the first time. Rum, tequila, whisky, Beer tried it all! Now alcohol no longer attracts me. I just wanted to try just for the sake of experience .

- Did a lot of solo trips in India. Travelled solo to Udaipur Jaipur,Jodhpur, Delhi and Indore, Surat, Hyderabad. If I were living me with my parents they would make me feel guilty of not taking them with me.

- Got into gaming as a hobby and bought myself a very high end gaming laptop and played many games like Detroit become human, RDR2, Bond 007. My steam library is worth around 30k in games. Fulfilled my childhood dream 🥹

- Bought myself an Espresso machine and got myself into hobby of brewing coffee. Now, I know the difference between a Latte, cappuccino, Americano, Cortado, Flat white, Mont blanc, Dalgona coffee. My mom would be making faces if she found that I indulge in such extravagant stuff. As a middle class family it has been ingrained in my mind to save for the future and not to indulge in such stuff.

- Bought myself a 80k Phone and started photography. Ohh man! the experience is soo different compared to using a 18k phone 🫠

- Explored a lot of new cuisines and fine dine experience. My Dad always took us to the same family restaurant every few months and we never moved past Palak paneer and Dal tadka 😞 Now I have tried almost everything fancy. Sushi, Bao, Dimsum, Neopolitan pizza, Bamboloni, Baklava, hummus, Khao suey!

- finally had the money and courage to buy premium apparels like Levi's,Raymonds. Grew up wearing Rs 1k jeans and 800 ka shirt😬

- Bought a Sports bike ♥️

Ofcourse, this wasn't possible if I had not left my parents home to travel to a different city for a 3X pay. Living alone gave me the space and control over my finances and more importantly a a non judgemental environment where I could own my decisions and live a life on my terms. And mind it my parents don't even know any of the above things 🙂

heyy guys, just wanted to clarify if it's normal for my driving instructor to come a lil (too) close and grip my hand under his on the gear stick and touch my thigh (briefly just to point which leg) while instructing. idk if I'm overthinking or it's fine.

im 22f and I had taken my younger brother along w me the initial few days and everything seemed normal. now when I'm going alone I'm observing these things and I feel extra alert and slightly uncomfortable. the instructor is middle aged idk how to feel. and don't wanna cause a ruckus at home as well.

Our education minister has been funding his daughter's personal expenses from tax payer money. These ministers not only send their kids abroad after destroying the education system of our country, they are funding their lifestyle there directly from the public.
