Gonna be in DC for a few days, from Puerto Rico, would love to see a show if anyone knows of anything.

I found a 7" vinyl with a bonus CDR with 26 additional tracks. I kinda fell in love with the band, I really enjoy their music. The first four tracks are the same as the 7" and available online. The rest of them are apparently tracks (4-8) Black Lodge EP, (9-11) Cloud City Sessions EP, and (12-23) Baltimore: The Greatest City on Earth/Dragonzord and Mark Gunnery. The last 3 tracks must not have been released other than on this album.

Anyway, is there any crazy chance that anyone actually owns either the Black Lodge EP, Cloud City, or the Mark Gunnery CD? They were according to Discogs handmade only, so I'd be surprised. But it's worth a shot anyway.

We are at an amazing amazing moment in folk punk

From what my little brother has told me, what differentiates folk punk from regular punk is that folk punk uses acoustic folk instruments while sticking to punk texts.

So what are punk songs generally about? Well, some examples are:

1. How unfair and backwards the system is.
   
2. How unfair and backwards past systems have been.
   
3. How much the love/hate certain places.
   
4. How fun it is to get drunk.
   
5. How fun it is to have sex.
   
6. How much ass the ones in power suck.
   
7. Tragic love.

This is, of course, in stark difference from classic folk music which tends to cover subjects such as:

1. How unfair and backwards the system is.
   
2. How unfair and backwards past systems have been.
   
3. How much the love/hate certain places.
   
4. How fun it is to get drunk.
   
5. How fun it is to have sex.
   
6. How much ass the ones in power suck.
   
7. Tragic love.

Unnecessary but frankly irresistible snark aside, what separates folk punk from regular folk music?

Well Day 3 ended and it was without a doubt a 10/10 festival. The organizers put in so much work that they deserve just all the love in the world. Keeping that shit together must be so exhausting.

Overall fantastic day. Myles performed and melted everyone’s heart and made me cry. Him and Ceschi doing Friends in Real Life was an unexpected highlight. Grinning Death continues to shock and awe Denver.

Crow Cavalier was stunning (which is typical). Hanging out with Chris Og from Troll2 was a delight, having Brooke Pridemoore do a free style song and it being awesome was great.

There was a singer (band) Chris (god I’m forgetting the name off the top of my head)… but they fucking smashed.‘astonishing performance. Had the whole gang on stage tell fuck the cops and fuck your gender binary. First time hearing them and wow.

Pigeon and I got to spend a lot of time together which is always amazing and getting to hangout with Ceschi on a comrade level was dope as shit

Best tho::we got another 59 letters sent to prisoners. That means over 170 over the weekend. Just unreal.
