So recently I have been thinking about making a modpack for New Vegas, which would sort of touch on the things that I think are either missing or are just not as interesting and thought out as they could be. One of these is charisma, but that's where I have been stuck. Because obviously it's useless in vanilla game, but I don't really like the whole concept of "the higher your charisma, the more companions you can have in your party" that the community has been throwing around for a bit. Any ideas?

Honestly the question is very simple and in my opinion I doubt it because I don't think they want to touch it for some reason even though I think it would be fine to have a reference or even a cameo because they already did make a dead money reference in season 1 and had Sinclair at the meeting table.

It would be hilarious to me if they weren't even mentioned once despite this being the easiest reference to put in since Cooper is in show business and as far as I'm aware both Vera and Dean were pretty well known at the time.

But yeah it's fine if they don't pay no mind to them I'll just let go about it.

Is that the maximum potential of this gun or when I have withdrawal effects when or im suffering? Also would it change damage if I wasn't under the guns special effect requirement? I really don't get it and I have been playing for years never knowing what the Junkie ability is or what it does with damage.

I was looking arroudn the fallout 1 files, trying to get the direct acces of the .exe file to be able to play the game without the epic games launcher and for some reason the vault boy of the image turned into this guy.

Anybody knows who he is?

Fallrim Hills is my complete rebuild of Sanctuary Hills into a medieval Elder Scrolls inspired fantasy town, with no electricity, only lanterns and bonfires, beautiful plants and flowers are plentiful and the only weapons you'll find are forged by a Blacksmith.

This project was done on my xbox series s so I was very limited by how much detail I could truly put in, what I've built in this video is the peak of what my xbox can achieve and I can't really build beyond this without it becoming seriously unstable!

But yet again this proves that the console can achieve way more than people give it credit for and can still remain playable and stable with a huge mod list！

I got to thinking the current consoles have been around almost six years. There is a solid chance of needing to buy a new console for both Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls VI. 😓

FO4 froze in the middle of a session and I couldn’t help but see the waveform in my head.

It’s obvious now but when this game released the parallels between coding and sound design weren’t as apparent, to me.

Was having a lot of fun during that session. Some of that energy trickled down into the song, forsure.

So this is a sort of a question about the fallout and ES universes and why for the most part does Bethesda not have much or at all in the realms of expanded media such as books and comics like gears, halo and mass effect universes have. I get that you can’t really do a novelization of the games but why not a prequel book or comic series about the anchorage fight or annexation of Canada from a freedom fighter perspective. Heck even in elder scrolls a book series about the war between the empire and the thalmor. I know there is a roleplaying game and table top and let’s not forget the tv show but besides that why not books or comics, did Todd ever have a quote or?

What name, synopsis, and setting would you give it?

Was playing the other day and was wondering did any area like in lore that I have not reached yet reach an era. Cause I was thinking some music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s would still work so well in a fallout world it the buildings around it weren’t 50’s aesthetic.

Sunny is in on the plan to defend Ringo against the Powder Gangers! Trudy loves me so she’s in and will rally the townfolk, Chet agrees to supply leather while hiding inside his store lol, and Victor partners up. Doc Mitchell gives what he can spare (and extra since my Medicine skill is high!), but Easy Pete thinks it's way too dangerous without enough Explosive skill, so I’ll have to circle back.

Talked to Joe Cobb about Ringo shooting back instead of letting them be robbed—he claims it's their territory now since they took over the NCR. Found the Powder Gang camp and the correctional facility, paid the $100 to the door guy, and met Eddie after out-talking Chavez. Also found a weird message at the camp about pooling resources and a decline in travelers? what do you think the message means?

How did you guys handle the Powder Gangers? Did you team up with Ringo and defend Goodsprings or side with Joe Cobb?

You have to pick a power armor like it’s your first time playing and you don’t realize they have different stats, which do you pick? I personally pick the t-45 as it’s the face of the game and I just like it looks cool.

I'm going to start a playthrough and get This Machine early. The only issue is that I can't think of a reliable spot to get a lot of 308 ammo early. The only merchants I know that carry a lot of ammo are the Khan's armory, and Bardon at Hoover Dam. Is there anywhere else that has a significant amount? All other merchants don't carry all that much.

Is there a mod or some way to fix the third-person aiming? Every time I want to shoot something, I have to shift the crosshair slightly to the right, depending on how far away the target is. It's a bit annoying.

I got both games on steam and both games are not lauching, i downloaded them both with 0 mods, the launcher works it starts but then i press Play and then nothing the launcher just closes.

I have played the first 30 hours of fallout: new vegas and I don't get it. People keep telling me yo give it a chance. But it's not fun. I'm not having fun.

basically the title, first time playing and idk i’ve been doing sidequests nonstop and i felt like i’d been doing good with seeing a lot of what the game has to offer but i was looking up companions since i haven’t found any yet and i feel like i’ve messed up by not talking to as many npcs as i could have. i’m probably gonna go back and look around for stuff i might’ve missed but idk not much else to say i kinda just wanted to rant a bit cause i’m annoyed with myself for not being more thorough 😭
