Help Fuck Facebook Ads

Tried to run an ad today of a drunk guy who just said fuck trump and smoke weed.
Hi ******,
Your ad was rejected because it doesn’t comply with our Ads About Social Issues, Elections or Politics policy. This means that your ad isn’t running and will not be delivered to your audience.
Like what? I see political ads all the time on Facebook what’s with this?
Can someone explain why they won’t run mine?

Help Facebook/meta ads RUO Peptides

Hey, wanted to connect with some ruo peptide business owners on how you were able to scale your business. I feel like this is a gold mine and theres enough food on the table for everyone to eat. I started my biz beginning of June and up to date have done about 15k in revenue just organic (some people from my gym I sold too and the rest online from tiktok and google). Ive been trying to run meta and tiktok ads since the beginning of July but I have had really no success (literally maybe 1-2 sales from both platforms). Compared to the screenshots I’d see people post where they’re hitting minimum 3x roas to 10-15 roas. Anyone that’s scaled can you share some things that has worked for you? Ive had one of my fb accounts taken down after 1 week of running ads (which I found odd because I used an ad creative I saw being used in meta ads library but mine got taken down). I have no previous experience with running ads on meta. Ive heard the term cloaking and agency ad accounts but I don’t really know what it means or why an agency ad account would perform different/better than a new ad account.

I appreciate your time and thank you for the advice in advance.

Discussion 'Creative fatigue' is usually a media buying problem dressed up as a content problem

Running paid social across four e-commerce accounts, somewhere around $80K to $120K in monthly spend depending on season. I have burned so much client money on reshoots that never fixed the actual issue.

The pattern is always the same. CPA creeps up for three days and someone in the Slack thread goes "creative fatigue, we need fresh assets." Half the time the real problem was a frequency spike from under-broadened audiences. Or a CPM jump because Meta decided to juice auction prices that week. Or some iOS black box nonsense that made attribution look worse than delivery actually was. But the directive comes down: new shoot, new models, new invoice. Six weeks later the assets land and the numbers look identical because the fundamentals never changed.

About four months ago I stopped letting every dip trigger a production cycle. I needed a way to test hooks and angles faster than a shoot calendar could allow, without pretending a static graphic was going to carry a UGC-style account. I had been using Midjourney for background and lifestyle stills for a while, but getting a real product believably into a model's hands was the blocker. You can generate a person holding something generic. Try getting your actual SKU with correct proportions, branding, and lighting to not look like a collage job. It always needed Photoshop surgery that ate the time savings.

I ended up testing APOB AI for exactly this: taking one consistent AI-generated model and getting my real product into her hands for a batch of UGC-style stills. Same face, different angles, different hooks, product actually readable at scroll speed. For video I tried their image-to-video on a couple of those stills, then cut in CapCut. The stills held up fine. The video took several regeneration passes, there were frames where the product warped or her fingers did something impossible, and I had to be brutal about killing clips that weren't clean enough. It is not a shoot replacement for anything motion-heavy yet, not for my accounts anyway.

I went from testing maybe four new creative concepts in a month to pushing through twelve to sixteen variations some weeks, all built off one base shoot that happened back in January. The model is flagged as AI-generated in copy, not presented as real talent. When a hook flops I kill it in two days instead of waiting for production. When something works I iterate on the angle immediately. That velocity, and actually testing hooks instead of guessing, is the only lever I still trust.

Meta's auction is still a fucking dumpster fire. But I have stopped lighting money on fire chasing "fresh creative" as the default diagnosis for every dip. Sometimes the creative was fine. I just needed more shots at the same hook to find the winner.

Help Performance still bad since 19th of July?

Hi Everyone,

I had 3 campaigns running all of them of were successful and were bringing in consistent sales from my target market.
Suddenly on the 19th of July, the day Meta ad delivery was bugged and went down the performance completely droppped.

I understood that this was completely normal and did not want to touch any of the campaigns fearing it might reset the optimizations so I just took the temporary loss until the performance is back up.

It has been now 3 days, things are still very bad... Anyone have any advice on this?

Should we wait it out? Relaunch the campaigns?

Its very sad what Meta is doing honestly.

UPDATE:
I took a leap of faith and just relaunched, and the sales we made in 4 hours are more than the sales the past 3 days.
Dont take what I did as advice I just had nothing to lose to be fair and was extremely fed up.

Discussion so demotivated

I'm so demotivated today. I don't trust the system at all. it's like they've built a scam portal where my ads are just being thrown into least converting metrices.

I had turned the ads off on July 8th - when we spent a lot and got like 0.25 roas - which is utter grabage coming from a constant roas of 3. from spending a million in 2020 to spending 230 k in the past 3 years makes no sense at all.

I mean how much am i too change and test- one minute it's abo, then cbo, then advantage, then creative - now never ending hidden buttons of ai enhancements. and what even is threadz - genz doesnt even know how put two sentences together - forget reading and writing.

i understand all about making profts - but somewhere down the line it has to make sense.

ive lost all hope faith trust in platforms - even google and tiktok is learning from scamy meta.

this process of finding passion is so painstaking - that to be taken advantage of from platforms that are meant to help us grow is devastating.

i really hope this ai nonsense stops soon. nothings working.

Help "Not Delivering"

Upvotes

Set up 2 ads, 2 days apart, first one said "Not Delivering" figured it was an audience issue being narrow.

Set up a second ad, with advantage+ audience (widest possible)...still says "Not Delivering"

And it just doesn't tell you what's wrong...can someone help?!

Bug / Outage Today is something special with quality

I've seen a lot of issues with traffic quality, but today is something special. Even when the traffic was bad, I had some orders 1,2 per hour, but I had them.

Data:
My daily spend is $500, down from $1500 in March
Toy brand, US only
Median CTR ~6%, median conversion is 3.2%
I get 30-50 orders daily

So, as you can tell, there are rarely 2 hours with no sales, but not today. I know there was an outage in the morning, but everything was fine - I had the best day since the beginning of the month. Everything stopped at 1 pm Central Time. No sales since then from Meta (there was one from Google, though). My ROAS was 2+ in the afternoon, now slowly marching to <1. So 7 hours with no sales during the day, it's just ridiculous.

Shopify screenshot in comments just to realize the damage.

Is it the same for everyone, or just me?

Discussion Customer Lifecycle strategy

So I just got these new options in the Ad Set settings:

  • Get conversions from all audiences
  • Acquire new customers

Thankfully, neither option is required, so I've left both unselected for now. I'm curious though which one has been working best for you?

Help Meta Ads campaign is Active but spending ₹0, what am I missing?

Hi everyone,

I'm running a Meta Sales campaign and I'm confused because the campaign is Active, but the spend is still ₹0.

Here are the campaign details:

Objective: Sales

Status: Active

Budget: ₹500/day

Bid Strategy: Highest Volume

Start Date: July 22, 2026 (ongoing)

Schedule: Business hours only

Audience:

Miami

Men & Women, 18+

Interests: Gift Shop (Retail), Mug (Kitchen & Dining), Custom Gifts & Clothing

Relationship status: In a relationship

Detailed Targeting Expansion: ON

Placements: Advantage+ Placements

Creative: Video ad

The campaign has been published and shows as Active, but the Amount Spent is ₹0 and there are no impressions.

Things I've already checked:

Budget is set correctly.

Campaign is turned on.

Payment method is active.

Advantage+ placements are enabled.

Has anyone experienced this before? What was the actual cause, and how did you fix it? Any troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

Bug / Outage Is Meta Connected to UseHatchApp? More Outages, Pretty Obvious

We manage a book of clients of which we manage their Facebook pages. Very few inboxes are loading, and it's gotten worse as the day goes on.

We also use Hatch (UseHatchApp) for our call center and we are experiencing a bunch of issues there as well, wondering if Meta is connected to that or if there's a more widespread issue across the internet. Anyone have insight on Meta/Hatch connections?

This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of issues we're having. Campaign spending is wildly sporadic, we're getting a TON of bad leads in which people tell us they never filled out a form. And the icing on the cake? Meta only posts "outage" updates in the middle of the night (US) and it always shows they're quickly resolved. No doubt, these updates are retroactive.

Bug / Outage Purchase events stopped tracking ever since the Meta outage. Anyone else?

Has anyone else been experiencing this since the Meta outage a couple of days ago?

Ever since Ads Manager was down for a few hours, my Purchase events have completely stopped showing in Ads Manager.

The weird part is everything else still seems to be working:

  • Impressions are updating
  • Reach is updating
  • Page Views are tracking
  • Add to Carts are tracking

It's only Purchase that's missing.

My Shopify store is still getting orders (around $1000 in sales today), but Ads Manager shows 0 purchases. I even clicked my own ad and placed an order to test it, and it still didn't register as a purchase.

I'm starting to worry that if Meta isn't receiving Purchase events, it might eventually affect campaign optimization.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing, or is it just me? Any ideas on what could be causing it?

Discussion Does Meta Kill Winning Creatives Too Early?

Hi everyone,

I have a question about creative testing on Meta Ads.

Whenever I put multiple creatives in the same ad set, it feels like Meta quickly pushes only one or two of them while giving very little budget to the others.

Do you think it's better to trust the algorithm, or to use an ABO campaign with the same budget for each creative so they all get a fair chance to prove themselves?

Thanks for your feedback!

Bug / Outage Charging back spend

We have started to chargeback wildly inefficient ad spend that directly correlates with the outages timelines. We know of multiple others who are doing the same and refusing payment on credit line invoices.

This is really the only way to get their attention. Suggest you consider the same.

Bug / Outage CPL Has Quadrupled Since Yesterday's Outage – Anyone Else?

Since yesterday's outage, my campaigns have completely fallen apart.

CPL has quadrupled overnight. Some campaigns aren't spending at all, while others are burning through budget with little control and no conversions coming in.

I've checked everything on my side and nothing has changed, so I'm trying to work out if this is a wider Meta issue or just bad luck.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing since the outage? Any fixes or insights would be massively appreciated.

I'm genuinely pulling my hair out at this point, and my boss is already questioning the results.

Bug / Outage Anyone else getting trash traffic again today? Possible Meta outage?

Something feels off again today.
After the issues over the last week, my campaigns are once again getting what looks like low-quality traffic. Clicks are still coming in, but conversions have dropped sharply and the traffic doesn’t seem to match the usual behavior.
I’m not talking about normal day-to-day volatility—this feels more like delivery quality suddenly changed.
Has anyone else noticed:
A spike in poor-quality traffic?
Normal CTR but significantly worse conversion rates?
Delivery acting strangely again today?
Trying to figure out if this is account-specific or if Meta is having another issue.
There have already been multiple ad delivery disruptions in the past week, including the July 16 and July 19 incidents, and some advertisers are still reporting performance problems following those outages.
