july 15: EA releases Title Update 1.6.4. clubs matchmaking immediately breaks for thousands of players. can't find matches, instant connection errors, squads completely locked out of league games

july 15 to July 22: EA's response is essentially silence. one post on X saying "some players" are experiencing issues. no ETA, no workaround, no communication. the post got 1.8 million views and the replies were absolutely rinsing them

july 22: EA finally releases 1.6.5 as an emergency fix and tweets a one line apology saying sorry for the frustration

eight days. eight days of not being able to play the mode with your squad because they pushed a broken update and then went quiet

and the thing that makes it genuinely infuriating is the contrast. when Ultimate Team has a token issue or a pack glitch, there's an emergency patch within hours. every single time. because Ultimate Team makes them money and Clubs doesn't

1.8 million views on that X post and still took a week. if that engagement was on a FUT announcement they'd have had a fix live by morning

So our striker got fouled outside the box and instead of the game setting up a free kick it’s just been like this for the past 5 minutes with the clock ticking by one second every second. Would it be safe to leave or would we lose our 2-0 lead?

After playing a game with the new update, Me and a few friends received a notification about the apology gifts for the games missed. This included archetype axp but we have yet to receive it. Has anyone else had the same happen? If so, were you able to get the axp?

I’ve been playing Pro Clubs for 15 years, and like most of you, I’m exhausted by the lack of innovation,broken pace metas, and lazy monetisation.

Curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Earned Perks: Unlock PlayStyles through actual in-game performance, not buying boosts. Example: 200 interceptions gives you intercept bronze. 400 gives you silver. 800 gives you Gold.(these are just random numbers i've chosen)

D-Pad Adjustments: Change defensive lines or wing-back overlaps live without pausing the match.(This is mostly for ai)

Custom Set-Piece Routines: Design corner and free-kick tactics in the clubhouse and execute them in-game with run indicators for your team.

Spectator mode

1. Actually Fix Drop-In Matches 11v11 Priority: Matches always try to fill a full 11v11 first. If queue times are too long, it scales down to 6v6 or 8v8 with balanced AI so you get into games fast.

Queue by Position: Select your position before searching—no more fighting over who gets to play ST.

1-10 Match Rating System: Everyone starts at 6.0. Good team play pushes you toward a 10, while selfish play or griefing tanks your score. High-rating players get matched together, sending ball-hogs to low-priority lobbies.

1-Click Party Up: Easily recruit or party up with good randoms after a match.

1. Netcode & Crossplay Dedicated Servers: High-performance regional servers so no one suffers from host advantage or input delay.

Dynamic Crowd & Voice Chat: Crowds react dynamically to late comebacks and missed chances. Includes built-in team comms with quick mute toggles.

So I saw EA finally dropped the update. However I saw some saying it’s still not working and I was wondering if anyone has tried league matches yet with a lot of players (some from different regions). We usually have about 7 players from a few different regions and don’t wanna be disappointed again when we try and play tonight.

currently my pro has a blue arm sleeve on but whenever i edit his appearance (even turning all accessories to the 'none' option) and try to change the arm sleeve and give him gloves, it never saves and just changes back to the blue arm sleeve. But i can still easily change his hair and facial accessories etc. so i don't know what the problem is...
