Who remembers the small things like the fake twitter feed on the journey, it really just isnt the same how is it possible that they spiralled instead of advancing as the years went on. The cover art, the menus feel soulless, i could go on. The problem is no one will ever boycott and they know they will always make alot of money not matter how good or bad the game is.

Gameplay is jarring as a casual and even worse competitively cause thats just people spamming the most effective string of play-styles together to beat the opponent.

It’s like executing a combo of super-moves and doesn’t simulate even close to a football game irl.

I just got the FC26, haven’t played fifa much since fifa 18. I selected my position as CAM and for some reason the manager only has me at LM? Went to edit my pro and now CAM isn’t an option and only allows me to select LM/RM. During preseason I was played at CAM and now the regular season started and I’m on the wing. Anyone know what went wrong? Did I make a wrong selection somewhere or is it bugged? Thanks

apparently it activates the same way that cross claimer does, so I assume it does improve it, although the plus version is potentially overkill. I just use silver and call it a day

Every single multiplayer or single player game(doesn't matter) I play has a smooth, fast and genuinely friendly menu where i can go whenever i want fast, enter modes smoothly, do whatever I want and queue for games with no problem.

FC is a pure torture, why, genuinely why can't they just fix this little thing? Does it have to be? Sometimes I don't do things because of how laggy and awful that entire menu is and quickly trying to play rivals or whatever.

Gameplay has a lot of problems overall but the menu one is so simple why don't they just start with that.

I've been playing on PC for the last 2 years, cause I have a gaming PC & I do most of my stuff on pc, so I thougt it would be good. I also don't care about the market being more empty.

But the bugs this year have been annoying and I can't believe that a company as big as EA, doesn't seem to care about it at all.

When I started playing this year, there was a bug, that sometimes the game didn't registry your gamepad. No matter what you try, it doesn't recognize it till you restart the game. Which makes you quit the game, cause trust me, you don't wanna play on keyboard..

Then there's another bug, that sometimes you can't make changes. If you presst pause and then go on Team Management, it just puts you back to the pause menu, so you gotta wait for the game to "offer" you changes ingame and mostly it's not the players you want to swap either.

Those 2 bugs were there since the beginning, I reported them multiple times too. I came back like 3 weeks ago, cause this is the time I like to play the most. Most people have their own teams now and you don't see the same players 24/7. Guess what? Both Bugs are still there..

Now a new one came in too. When I go on Objectives and then to the Gamepass, it bugs out and you can't leave the objectives. So you have to restart the game for it to be fixed.

How can a company this big, make so many errors in a competitive online game? I wanted to get a PS5 for the Bo2 Remake anyway so I can play Zombies with my Brothers, guess It's time to move back to PS5 with EA FC too. Really enjoyed playing on PC but oh well..

Also has anyone on PC been getting those bugs too and if yes, did you manage to fix them? I got friends on PC, but they usually do their evos offline, so no real online gameplay for them.

I’ve recorded a clip because I genuinely want to know if this is just me or if other people are experiencing the same thing.

The last FIFA I played seriously was FIFA 15, so I’m still getting used to the newer gameplay. But something feels really off.

In almost every attack, I have no passing options. My AI teammates barely make runs, they don’t come short to receive the ball, and they often just stand behind defenders. It feels like I’m constantly forced into impossible passes that get intercepted immediately.

Even when I use L1 to trigger a run or R1 to call a player short, it often feels like nothing happens, or the movement isn’t enough to create a passing lane. Almost every passing lane ends up being blocked or intercepted.

I’m not talking about one or two bad plays this happens all game long. No matter what I try, there’s rarely any movement to create space, so every attack dies before it even starts.

Is this just how the game works now, or am I missing a tactic or setting that’s causing this? Any advice would be appreciated.

Just making some fun tactics for my pro clubs team atm, and im trying to create like a super attacking one for when we're losing in the last minutes of the game, and does anyone remember on like FIFA 22 (cant remember which fifa remade tactics) and there was one for defenders that was something like ''Will play as an attacker in the last minutes if losing''? Like why isn't this in the game anymore?

Some of the most fun i've had on fifa are these late comebacks on pro clubs where the whole team is just bombing forward, the fix for this atm is just to put yourself and your mates as the defenders, and just rush forward, with the defenders playing as attackers, but man overall, i just miss the old system so much.

PC with PS4 Controller, I tried holding X, I tried holding R2, I tried using circle, I don't know why but when the ball is right in front of my players, they just won't go after it? even if I'm using left stick to move them toward it, they still just ignore it sometimes? Am I doing something wrong? this is even worse when there's like 3 attackers in my box, I would have 10 defenders and they still all manage to miss the ball

Every single game I play online now, my opponents are able to predict what I do before I do it, like I didn't even think about doing it yet.

Added that they can perfectly switch and control their players with 0% mistake or switching to the wrong player, moving the wrong way, etc. all that happens (supposed to happen) through organic gameplay.

This is why I stopped playing after TOTS and I see nothing has changed.
