I do not care about advanced directing, complex layovers, or any of that extra fluff. Most of it is just useless filler. I pretty much only care about is being able to fully customize my mc and li from top to bottom. It is honestly lowkey offensive when games choose a default look for everyone that is just generic and white. its very boringgg

So I took a really long break from Episode because I just couldn’t find anything that properly grabbed my attention. I started quite a few stories, but ended up dropping them.

The writing style/ production is honestly so important to me. That being said, if the storyline is amazing, I don’t mind the production as much.. as long as it’s well written and keeps me invested. I’m also not really a murder mystery girl (sorry), I’m a hopeless romantic. These are some stories I absolutely LOVED and have either finished/ waiting for the author to complete:

I'm currently trying to create my childhood Ocs and I'm not gonna lie, I'm not exactly happy with the clothes and accessories they currently have in the portal.

To give you an idea of what I'm trying to go for, I'm a big Arcane fan, to be specific 2016 me based my OCs on League Of legends characters.

I tried to recreate the clothes and oml 🥀🥀 I guess that's one way to keep the designs original..

This might be an unpopular opinion but recently, I have discovered that there is a new wave taking over the Instagram author community where it has become normalized to publicize every internal argument happening in group chats. There are times when the concerns are valid and involve bigotry, but the recent posts I've seen seem to stem more from misunderstandings that could/should have been resolved in private.

I know Episode is a small community, but I think authors should still uphold a certain level of professionalism. It is also odd how normalized it has become to publicize private DM's and conversations. Something about this feels unethical, is it just me? Is anyone else even bothered by this stuff?

EDIT: Because it keeps getting mentioned in the replies, I have gone back and viewed the Google Drive in full. I still don't believe it was necessary and actually might be more harmful than the original intent because all I have gathered is that this drama is no longer about ableism awareness but about a massive case of misunderstandings and things lost in translation as they were relayed by different parties. Maybe this is a lesson to be direct with your concerns rather than opening side conversations. I have seen more authors talk about this petty drama than I have seen them write their actual stories so maybe that is where my frustration as a reader lies.

But the reason she came to the show was kinda creepy and disturbing😭.
