Hello! I updated the game today to the latest version and it's giving me stability problems. I had to restart the PC to be able to open the mod, and now it closes by itself. Can I go back to a previous version? Where can I see if the creators say anything about this?

I heard its Elden Vins but researched all spells and ashes of war cant find it.

I'm a veteran player and want to take some friends who are new to Fromsoft games through Elden Ring.

Personally I really enjoy invasions as a part of the game, but have done enough PvP to know there some invasions would absolutely make them have a miserable time.

So I was thinking of occasionally dipping out and invading my friends with some lore appropriate characters I've made over the years. See if I can get another veteran friend of mine to do s

I saw invasions can be toggled on, but it doesn't look like sharing a password with others player can let you invade them specifically?

If so, does anyone know of something compatible that could allow this?

The title says it all, I'm a huge fan of survival and I've seen this mod from 4 years ago, of which I don't really find too many videos and coverage.

Has anybody tried it? Is it good?

And besides, is it compatible with convergence?

(I'm still on the verge of buying elden ring for PC, waiting for a sale actually, I've finished it on PS5)

That was one of my best mod experience.

I don't really post, but jesus christ i got a good fight against one of the new reliquary bosses in the new convergence update with my main underworld mage, Listening to Bang Bang (New Version) (feat. Adam Levine) of course. So many moments just match so perfectly to the beat, my favorite at 1:05-1:12 with the wild dodge with the weapon art for galvanic culling blade. You'll probably notice foxy too lol, perfect timing at 0:46 killed me. I made a desktop application for 1/5000 chance of withered foxy, he also removes my ability to do anything for a solid second too, very fun.

Really enjoyed playing through the game with seamless on and it made me want a full game built from the ground up. Exploring a whole game of the same scale but being able to do it with a party would be amazing. From seem happy with the current multiplayer arrangement and game style so I don’t imagine they would be super interested in something like that unfortunately. I just think there’s a gap in the market for people who want a great fantasy RPG experience without it being turn based like Balders gate. I did enjoy going through BG3 with some friends but it’s not hugely my thing. But yeah, in a perfect world I’d have a fantasy game inspired by the likes of LoTR, DnD and Warhammer fantasy with Fromsofts character builds, combat system and art direction to play with some friends.

I have been trying to get a randnomiser run on my steam deck however every time i try to run the game i get this error.

So i updated convergence to 3.01 and I noticed that the necromancer spells no longer work with the blighted branch I believe its called (the starter staff)

Anyone know if this is a bug or am i doing something wrong?

I recently learned how to change a weapon's trail, i was also able to change the trail of the Shriek of Milos AoW Charged R2s and i'm now trying to disable the default trail on the Serpentbone Blade/Sword of Night special R2, but i don't have any idea which ID it refers to. Any help?

I'm pretty new to editing regulation files and I'm using Smithbox 2.1.0 to do so.

I am trying to make spirit summons act like normal NPCs visually; so their body models wouldn't fade/lose opacity when close to the camera, I wanna make their models act just like real NPCs, solid and no fading effect when too close to the camera.

I tried to do it myself by messing around A LOT in the NpcParam and Nepheli Loux Puppet row as a test but I couldn't achieve what I wanted.

Would you guys please help me on this? I've been on it for quite some time now and the situation just doesn't get any better.

I'm playing elden ring reforged, i'm like 8 hours in and i almost explored all weeping peninsula and limgrave, i' running a faith str build and i killed godrick, i'm level 40 i think, would be better to go to the siofra rivers or to liurnia of the lakes? And any tips for my build? Thank you!

Can someone help explain to me how spirit damage works? Im getting very confused when trying to make them stronger or weaker.

Why are their damage numbers for mobs vs bosses so different? A maxed out cleanrot finlay will do about 300 dmg to a boss but only 100 dmg to regular mobs. Does anyone know what parameters are affecting this? I cant seem to find anything on it other than the difference between PVP and PVE dmg numbers.

If I make them strong enough to kill mobs they end up killing bosses in seconds. But if I balance them out for bosses they end up doing very little dmg to mobs. Its confusing the heck out of me.

I can't seem to find out what is and isn't in the Convergence mod. Also, this is the first time I've ever played a modded game (well over 20 years of gaming).

I was going to try a great shield build, and was going to plot out a gear game plan, but as mentioned above, I can't seem to find a source online for what great shields are in game and where they are.

Aside from that, Convergence has been amazing so far.

Hi all, so I love the phalanx pike's moveset in this mod, and don't get me wrong I love the phalanx pike too, but I wanted to use it's unique moveset on the partizan, is there anyway to do this? Running both seamless and convergence, and would I need to update it every patch? Im a bit new to this and would like to learn.

All seemed like it went well, i'm not using any other mods with mod engine 2. Smithbox confirms that I upgrade params and no other changes need to be made, and then I hit save.

Am I missing anything obvious? I'm getting "Save Game Corrupted" when launching.

I gotta say, some of these Reforged bosses feel pretty dang bad to fight.

The flaming Redmane Lion before Radahn, for example, is really cool. Except for the fire breath attack. That move simply sucks to fight against. I died several times with the boss at barely a sliver because I either got caught by the fire even though I ran away before the animation even started, or I ran into a box/bench for a half second, or I got so cornered that the camera was wacky while trying to dodge after.

I just now rage quit while fighting this onyx guy at the end of secret tunnel in Altus. He has this gravity meteor attack that he just spams over and over again. I try to heal after and he chucks a gravity ball, then just does it again. It's like fighting a gank squad in vanilla that braindead spams L2 and spells but with infinite FP. The best thing to do is just run around in a circle and look at the pretty colors. I'm not trying to watch Fantasia here. The boss is not that hard, and I can be incredibly patient. I just need a couple tries to learn the attacks. But it isn't like...fun to learn. This feels like fighting Gaius and getting double hit by that dang charge attack. An absolute low point of the DLC for me.

In many ways, I'm enjoying Reforged. It's making my favorite game of all time feel somewhat fresh. Convergence turns the whole game into Blasphemous Blade L2 but with more variety, and that just doesn't do it for me. I generally like the difficulty of Reforged. But I run into these bosses obnoxiously often that just feel BS in a distinctly unfun way. It's roughly every other time I sit down to play the game, but these are the two worst and/or most recent offenders.

This is really just a vent because I got genuinely frustrated and tilted.

Edit: I just wanna say the next day that I did beat the Onxy Lord in like...3 more tries (a bit of warm up after work) and he isn't even that hard, but I do think he's terribly designed. Legit 1/10 from me. The dragons in Skyrim are somehow more interesting to fight and they were top 3 biggest gaming let downs of all time. At least this thing had 0 hype so it couldn't disappoint.
