Just headswaps onto corsairs.

Me and friend were inspired by 2024's WarpGala created by Mixuen and her friends. We ended up with the brainworms.

It's basically an event where you draw an OC or canon character enjoying a religious festival.

But i thought that just a plain party/celebrity event wouldn't match the Aeldari vibe. So i talked with a few Aeldari loremasters and came up with this "Homebrew Event". Something on the level of a Sanguinala, but clearly an Aeldari event of it's own.

I went the extra mile to make a bunch of drawings and very verbose texts. This shouldn't be just a simple event announcement, It needs to be a gorgeous invitation. (I even made an layout for Q&A!!!!)

GW finally did the thing and released printable (paper, guys c'mon.) Exodite terrain! And there's multiple terrain types too!! I imagine the Exodite book will have lore for all of the different types of terrain since they all have different names.

Spent some time today using the new Exodite templates to knock out some sculpts of the terrain. I added some power nodes and large gems to give a little more flavor but I have sculpts with out them as well. Running test prints now and if they work I will try and find somewhere to toss them up for others.

I have tried 2 methods now to get this to look good in white. But the long curvy unbroken nature of the vehicle just makes the white look terrible. I wanna do a classic vans black and white checker print scheme for my Quins, but how do I make the star weaver not look horrible? Weathering? Washes? Please help!!

I'm just getting ready for the first of an extended weekend of games, battling over the frigid World of Helcaraxë IV.

It is an isolated system on the edge of the Damocles Gulf; Astra Militarum forces have been skirmishing with the Ork raiders and Tau scouting forces in this system, like in many others.

But now a shadow in the warp presages the arrival of the Tyrannic Threat, and the host of Ailonwë steps forth from hidden portals, fearing what the Hive Mind might achieve *(against Asuryani and Mon-Keigh alike)* if it is allowed to claim this poorly defended system's biomass.

For the full might of the Human military is far away, dealing with Chaos incursion and with Leviathan itself, leaving only token forces, and larger Craftworlds turn their eyes to concomitantly greater threats.....

So it is that Astalla Elestirnë, chief Farseer of Ailonwë, rouses the militias and celebrates the coronation of the Young King, hoping to blunt this small tendrils ere it grows to be a mortal peril to her home.

My army is the largest ive been able to field in a while now due to time constraints, so im being a little silly and going for theme; Astalla (Eldrad) leads storm guardians and a conclave, while Yelind (Khar'seth, as a normal farseer) leads a smaller conclave and some defenders. Meanwhile Shining Spears, Warp Spiders and Shroud Runners range forth ahead of the main host, seeking targets for Vaul's Twins to bring their crystalline fury upon, and a small cadre of Voidsreavers, leant at cost from the Stardust Crusaders, prepare their blades.

And above all the molten gaze of the Bloody Handed One burns, seeking to shake his murderous thirst on the enemies of the Eldar.

finally beat this game after awhile. took me 2 days to defeat every faction and get the cutscenes that show when you beat the faction. love taldeer i want to paint some of my eldar as Ulthwé now, i wish she had a model

So I painted my first windriders bikes today, now looking for some help. I'm not sure if I like the red stripes on it or leave it blank really letting the blue/green be the focus (Green highlights do not show up clearly).

I'm looking for some opinions.

So after playing 6 games, 2 in 10th and 4 in 11th I have found the fact that the Spiritseer healing triggers at the command phase and not the end of the movement phase really sucks!

Especially if they are paired with Wraithblades. Because the spiritseers don't attach charging them into the same fight as the blades basically is a death sentence. But unless I have positioned perfectly the distance the blades charge puts them outside the 6" range of the healing. And while they are durable being able to return a model before my fight phase is a pretty big deal.

The two enhancements from Spirit Conclave, Kurnous and the Mists at least have 12" range even if they do trigger it on command phase. I wish there was a way to move the Spiritseer after the blades charge. I honestly would love to have bonesingers back or some kind of leader/support for wraiths.

I think Wraiths are pretty decent at the moment with the healing 6" range being the worst issue. The Spirit Conclave rule not really benefiting the wraithguard/blades is another. This is due to their psyker buff being a +1 to hit already instead of an increase to BS/WS like the Lord's is.

I think the healing should be 8" range as that covers a slightly above average charge but still punishes for those extra long greedy charges. Moving it to movement phase would work but removes the ability to add a model to avoid battle shock. Which is honestly a crappy tradeoff with how impactful battle shock can be in 11th.

Changing the wraithguard/blades psyker buff to increase their BS/WS respectively would make getting a token, Ie sacrificing a psyker much more important. I would accept a slight point increase if they got this change too.

Outside of that I am really enjoying them in 11th. I have gone 3-1 in my four games. Barely winning thanks to points and lucky rolls. Preparing for a GT in mid Aug.

So, 6 months ago, I went all in with eldar, and bought more than 3k points of them : mostly aspect warriors and phoenix lords, but other stuff too (corsairs, vypers...)...however, with how unclear the meta is for eldar, I have trouble making a list I'm satisfied with. Here are a few points to consider:

-I happen to have purchased the warhammer+ special character (the iyanden seer I believe) which I can probably proxy as a seer or a farseer in addition with karsaith that I own too (he's the proxy for the spiritseer in my HQ list, as you probably guessed)

-I have to mention that I didn't buy ANY old model, and therefore avoided buying fire prisms/falcons/wave serpents, in case where they get refreshed this edition. I can always borrow one from a friend in the meantime. In general, when I buy a new faction, I avoid the old models for obvious reasons.

-I will definitely buy 3-6 dragon knight exodites, as they look incredible (who hates dinosaurs)

-I can get warlocks, no issue, but I'll avoid farseer skyrunners and skyrunners in general as they're starting feel a little old-ish to me (don't hate me for saying so please xD). Farseers on foot are "ok", as they're from 2018, which is still recent enough, I'm simply using the infinity's lament as a proxy for now.

-I'm hoping that dire avengers will get a refresh too in 11th edition, so I'm not buying the ones that are 20+ years old (a shame, as I love dire avengers thematically)

Still working on my meme Army

So, I'm fairly new to the hobby, and am convincing my wife to do it with me. I got her the Combat Patrol, which I guess is Saim Hann (in Box), but she finds it "too-aggressive red".

I wonder then: has anyone ever painted them pink, or something pastel-like? Basically made it cute -- that's my wife's goal with painting. It would help tremendously if you could share thoughts/pics.

This month I turned the Corsair Combat Patrol, and Skyreaver kit I got on deep discount:

Hey everyone!

I’m a long time 40K player who has just picked up the Aeldari corsairs Battleforce really cheap, and so excited to start my space elf army!

I know they’re very much a steep learning curve, and I’m not looking to chase the meta or even win necessarily - just want to build a cool, thematic space elf pirate army!

I’m really keen to lean into the melee side of it with some Howling Banshees (models I’ve loved since 3rd Ed) and Storm Guardians to support my Corsairs, and try to use their mobility to do hit-and-run attacks - does anyone have any general advice?Also, is Devoted to Ynnead any good? I like the look of the Incubi, wytches and raiders to give me some extra melee options.

Like I said, not looking to metagame, but just want to make that style of list workable and not immediately get tabled 😂

I have an extra Prince Yariel, I have bits for the corsair infantry I could make him as an Autarch or The Visarch I know I'll have to trim his base down, but the the cost there's no point in having 2 Epic Heroes I can only use one of so what's the most efficient move?

Hi everyone,

I’m a new Eldar player and I’ve honestly fallen in love with the army. The only problem is that I’m finding it very difficult to justify buying the current codex purely for the app code, knowing that a new codex will eventually release during this edition and replace it.

At the same time, I obviously wouldn’t want to ask for a code from somebody who actually intends to use the app themselves.

So I thought I would very politely ask whether anyone happens to own the codex but has absolutely no use for their app code, and would be kind enough to let me redeem it.

I know there are free alternatives available, but I’m just not very comfortable using them and I’m extremely used to the official app from my other factions, for which I’ve bought every codex normally.

Absolutely no pressure whatsoever, of course. I just thought it couldn’t hurt to ask.
