Is it worth it to use the forgefiend with 1 ectoplasma and 2 hades autocannons? I’m curious if it works well to give it more shots so more chance of dev wounds?

Vashtorr, Venomcrawlers, Defiler, Tempting Addendum..all up in cost. But the worst part is the Disposition change:. From Purge the foe to Take and Hold, it totally chances the way You can play it, with costly units and poor OC.wtf

I usually don't complaint about changes, but these destroyed the detachment imho.

Still a bit more grime and rust to go on the big crab but happy with how he's going so far.

Really proud of myself for how this came out. Venomcrawler has got to be one of my favourite csm models.

originally started as a Gendor Skraivok kitbash . but i needed a jump lord so got a jump pack from ebay . he also has vampiric powers , he can take the souls of his victims or something like that idk .

Ready for battle

So I needed some Traitor Guardsmen for my latest list and my local store had some Kriegsmen… Sooo yeah.

This is the Sergeant, and the way I’m thinking of why there are Krieg on the side of chaos is Traitors coming across a bunch of dead Krieg and looting their bodies. And using their gear to “trick” the Imperials that either there are Kriegs that have turned to Chaos, or that they are somehow alive after some could recognize this particular unit.

And yes, this was inspired by the Sabaton song. :)

So, I must explain the fact that my Black Legion abhors Chaos and tries to keep it as far away as possible but this is kinda a lie. The higher ranked individuals look more animalistic because of Chaos taint. But there is a firm line in the sand; Possession is an absolutely no no. But what if, a squad of Legionaries did a possession ritual but my Warlord decided to use them as cannon fodder and as shock-monsters?

I’m also fine with doing Word Bearer Possessed Mercenaries, since I’d like to make a 10-fold army of all 9 legions and the Red Corsairs(they’ve grown on me).

I’m asking because, I’ve only painted CSM as Black Legion, and Word Bearers color scheme is nice to me. Not my favorite CSM faction but I do respect them and like them in lore.

Genuinely it is fine either way for me. I just wanted to gather thoughts.

SFWP gets Take and Hold while MTR gets Recon. The only detachment in CSM that still gets PTF is now Creations of Bile.

Why do we think they decided to make this change? The contention is supposed to be that PtF is just as balanced as any of the other dispositions, yet it seems they are balancing around pulling it off Detachments for some reason...

I've created a list for my first game of 11th edition next week.

Hey guys!

I’m a little confused about the Sorrowscent Vulture enhancement, it looks like they got rid of a lords ability to join Warp Talons.

But the updated app still has the verbiage allowing you to do so.

Any ideas what’s right?

Also, why remove this ability? It was fun and unique. Was there some sort of devastating ability I didn’t know about?
