Home Office Space Study Room Redesign?
I moved, and I have a study room I haven't intentionally decorated yet, and it feels dreary. This is the current layout, and the measurements should be accurate. The walls are primed white/unpainted, and the floors are dark brown. There is one window where natural light is good, but it looks directly into the neighbour next door's room (but they always have their blinds closed). This room is mostly for studying and storage (an old vanity and a nightstand filled with stuff), but we do use it for arts and crafts too.

I am down to get rid of the vanity and nightstand. The smaller desk is an art desk/easel I'm emotionally attached to. The desk is the basic desk you can build from Ikea (black tabletop and metal leg poles). I'm the one who primarily uses the space, so I would like it to feel more complete, like with crown moulding or a full bookcase wall with a desk in the middle, but I don't know how to make up for the natural sunlight if I face the north wall. I'd like more than one place to sit, too.
Thanks in advance!
