face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks a few small bumps on lip and slightly tender, is it a cold sore?

Post image

hi!! woke up this morning with a few pimples on my lip. i’ve gotten them before but what threw me off was the fact that it wasn’t just one but a cluster of 3-4 ish and it didn’t tingle or burn like a cold sore but it was slightly tender / swollen (perhaps because i was touching it) it’s been roughly 5 hours and now the pimples/bumps/blisters? are less visible but i tried to take a photo if that helps. it’s a bit more visible in person. (also sorry if im overreacting lol ive had horrible experiences w cold sores and im hoping this isn’t one..)

I went to Mexico and was itchy from the heat on my chest down to my lower abdomen, and then as the weeks went on (it’a been 3) I have just been looking like a plucked turkey. They are like little tiny pimples and if tried they are like black heads kinda they itch when it’s hot and it’s all over my butt bc it’s more noticeable there. Can this be from the extreme heat. I’ve also been wearing more shorts and I sit on cloth car seats, couches and I go to the gym in shorts too!

arms/hands Sudden Small Multicolor Brown/Black Spot on Ring Finger

Thumbnail

17M, Asian. Small black spot suddenly appeared on my finger about 4-5 months back. At first i didn’t notice it growing but after looking at pictures (img. 1 is current and img 2-3 are from April) it seems that it has grown. Current size is 1.7 mm length and 1mm width (capsule shape). It has a black center which isn’t translucent and is surrounded by a translucent brown ish color (for context it’s translucent if i shine a light through my finger). I can’t go to the dermatologist for the next few months as i will be moving for college. It is not raised, i cannot feel it with my fingernail, it also does not hurt when pressed.

I can’t remember if i had an injury with this finger, all i remember was it just appearing there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will continue monitoring for the next 2 months.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks 1.5 years of unexplained itchy/tingly dry patches (forehead → cheeks) — dermatologists shrugging, need a sanity check

Upvotes

Looking for anyone who's dealt with something similar, because I'm running out of ideas.

Timeline: Started about a year and a half ago, originally just on my forehead. Over time it migrated and is now mostly on my cheeks. Symptoms are dryness, tingling, and itchiness. It has in the past two weeks been more intense in the mornings when I wake up.

Dermatology visits: Multiple appointments, no real diagnosis. I specifically asked about rosacea since that was my concern because my mother also has it, and they've ruled that out each time. Beyond that, it's been a shrug and "try this" steroid cream and antifungal cream, without much explanation of what they think is actually causing it.

Steroid cream: only used briefly, haven't touched it in about 8 months

Antifungal: used on and off, didn't notice real improvement

What helps (sort of): Keeping my skincare routine simple with La Roche-Posay products calms it down for a few days, but it always creeps back.

Other context: I'm on pollen immunotherapy but had a ~2 month gap due to a busy schedule, and I've been wondering if there's any connection, though my usual pollen allergy has always shown up as sneezing, not skin issues, so this feels separate.

Has anyone had a facial rash/irritation like this drag on for over a year without a clear diagnosis? What finally worked, or what should I be asking a derm to test for that they might be missing (patch testing, biopsy, etc.)?

legs/feet I have a concerning line on my pink toenail, and I'm unsure what it is!

Post image
Upvotes

It's only on my pinky toe. I'm not having any issues with the surrounding skin or any symptoms physically. It's not sensitive and it doesn't hurt or produce any pain.

I did wear some tight-fitting platform heels about a month ago, which I usually don't wear. Wore them for maybe 4-5 hours max.

No injuries or anything that I can remember. Just wanna see if anyone has any ideas? I researched for hours to see if there were any photos of something similar but all I found were vertical streaks, so I came here😅 TIA🖤

I went to an online dermatologist but she said it just looked like a papule. But suggested I go to an in person doctor. It’s changed since then to look like the second picture. On my left shoulder.

I’m kinda freaked out. it’s super super hard to get an appointment with a dermatologist where I live. Should I be freaking out? Like do I need to do whatever I need to do to see a dermatologist as soon as possible even if that means driving two hours?

I've had these small bumps on my hand for probably at least a year now? They've stayed pretty consistent but sometime in the last couple months I noticed they did spread. They are not really super itchy, and are only on one hand in this area. I really hate them 🥲

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Acne solely on forehead basically, sensitive combo skin

Post image
Upvotes

I’m 17M and have basically acne solely on my forehead region for 3 years. I’m pretty sure I
Oily on forehead and dry on cheeks.

I sweat alot also (maybe mild hyperhidrosis)
and have flaky skin after cleansing

I’ve been using avveno calm and restore moisturiser, cerave hydrating cleanser, la Roche oil control sunscreen and sacliylic acid (once every 3 days), but I keep getting whiteheads, acne on my forehead( rarely anywhere else on my face). it’s texture is uneven and rough as-well. My forehead gets quite itchy at times especially at the red regions that I sometimes appear for some reason.

I’m wondering if my cleanser is too strong, it’s a moisturiser thing or I should cleanse after sweating midday ish.

I’ve also been recommend oil cleansers, is that something I should look into

Please help my shit chopped😭✌️

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Bright red skin patch on my face for over a year + small bump

Thumbnail

I've had a bright red patch on my face for over a year now. It comes and goes every few days, but is there at least 5/7 days. Where it is bright red it burns but it never itches. I tried Polysporin, anti fungal cream, Elidel and now I'm starting Metrogel. Doctors do not know what I have, some say eczema, and now the one I saw last week suspects rosacea. I'm on a list to see a dermatologist but it wont be until maybe 3 months. At the same time the red patch started, a small bump the color of my skin appeared. It grew a bit but is stable and never bled.

I'm starting to get depressed. I don't want to go out with a bright red spot on my face. Does anybody know what it might be?

scalp Red spot appeared on my daughter’s scalp…please say it’s not a tick bite

Post image
Upvotes

My daughter was complaining of her scalp itching more than usual so when I checked, I saw this red spot. I help her brush her hair quite often and didn’t see this 2 days ago. She says this spot isn’t really itchy but is tender to touch. It doesn’t look like any hair has fallen out of this spot. Google says everything ever is a tick bite so please talk me off the ledge. I checked her whole head and this was the only spot I found. She has a history of eczema and had a hemangioma on the other side of her scalp that has pretty much faded now.

What do you think this is? It’s on my inner thigh. I’ve had it before but it went away. Months later it came back. Ringworm? Eczema? Rosacea? It’s just on my one leg and is not itchy.
