I have a Skiitari with a very similar name numbers and - yet on my vet it says it can't work i am super confused as to what is going on ?

With every character I've created and max leveled(all but ogryn) damnation has been the hardest difficulty of the base 5, my theory for this is casual players top out at Heresy so when they try Damnation it rocks their world and they back off and its not easy to solo carry. Then you get to Auric and most of the players there are very expierenced and know how to use their builds.

Am I crazy?

Apologies for the name calling and such about team mates in expeditions. I lost composure due to frustration a little and forgot my manners.

Been finishing up leveling the Arby's weapons while I'm about to hit lv30 with him and the shotgun just doesn't feel particularly great, at least at base. I it's still only lv10 atm so i haven't really bothered with traits on it to see how that'll do, but so far it's not feeling too great.

I get them on my other classes so why is it so hard to get on zealot class? I've never once seen it in shop its always 20% the highest I've seen is 20% and I need 3, i tried random curios from the bounties but no luck is it this hard to acquire?

Besides that, the reason I started playing this game is because there are Krieg Death Korps skins, and they're my favorite faction in 40k. Is there any word on when they'll be coming to the shop?

Matchmaking is darktide has progressivly gotten worse and worse. I swear every time I queue just to warm up, farm or just have fun I get matched with people who have no business being in damnation, auric or havoc. They run off, get grabbed instantly, die every 30 seconds, then complain like the game is specifically targeting them, like no shit what do you thinks is going to happen when you run off by yourself when you dont know how to defend yourself! And the second they take a bit of damage or go down once? Boom, they leave. The amount of fkn time ive had to clutch or resuce someone dying 4 time a game is just pissing me off. It’s gotten to the point where I’m sometimes soloing two monstrosities because everyone else is already dead. Like, how are you queueing Havoc and Auric dificulties or even damnation when you can’t survive alone for ten seconds? It’s wild how much more this has become common. I don’t mind you dying a whole bunch of time as long as your staying with the group, but having to hard clutch because you died straying away from the group just for you to complain and tell me to hurry up and revive you is just so infuriating. And yes I tried finding private parties to play with but none of my friends play darktide soo im forced to play with randoms that have a 50-50 chance of not having a brain.

It’s been over a year and the arbites have been left out to dry in terms of weapon variety. I’ve seen some minis with grenade launchers but I’m not sure what else could be added to their unique weapon pool.

I just had an unpleasant run. One guy was regularly over-topping ammo while the 2 other guys were scouring the whole map for scraps. The athmosphere was toxic and waste of time was unnecessary. I meant to block the guy after the run, but the guy left the game. Since you can see the steamIDs, but can't see the characters name in the previous missions tab, Is there a way to know the steam ID of the last people you played with? If there isn't, is there a mod for it?

Whenever i play the game no matter what class i do i always do the same few thing. I usually never take anything and mark it for others even if i need it because i feel like theyll need it more, and ill always try to stay near the farthest back person because i dont want them to die and feel like everyone left them. I noticed maybe 1 other person in my whole time playing this game do the same. I feel like its weird, but it feels just like its the right thing to do.

Both playing and having them as teammates. I admit that I’ve tended to run them as selfish builds and they tend to work out just by dealing with problems like crusher hordes but most of the teammates I get are just nosphreic commands ranged builds that seem like a worse version of vet. Curious to hear Yalls takes.

I see people complaining about the Commodore every week, but do you think there’s a way to ask the devs to switch from a 2-week rotation to a 1-week rotation? And ideally, get rid of the FOMO entirely—the kind that frustrates everyone and stops people from buying what they want, even when they have money to burn?

Not having ammo is just tedious, it isnt hard, it isnt fun, its a chore.

Train levels are always good and never bad this is just obvious and idk about you guys but if i have to run through the schitty apartment building holding an auspex ever again im just quitting the mission sorry that is not my idea of a fun time its a waste of time.

But I think after people have been complaining how powerful the Purgatus Staff is and how unfun it is playing with one on the team, having an event where the Purgatus Staff is the best choice because of lack of ammo drops is a bit tone deaf.

Hi all, been playing for a little while now but still not sure how often commodores gestures rotates? As I'm waiting for some better cosmetics to pop up

So I started the game a while back and I love it, Though unfortunately it’s hard to continue to love it atm.

Started off as Zealot, went with a melee berserker sort of play style. Relying heavily on bleed and crits, bolt pistol as back up, HE for main. Finished the campaign and was carried a lot by much better players ofc. I think I’m nearly hitting 30 on my level.

I just wanna know what the meta builds are that can make the game more enjoyable to play, as it just seems like that’s the only way to play. Cause I went with the screw it do what’s fun approach and on damnation difficulty that’s just not viable anymore.

I’ve tried getting good with dodges and blocks but most of the time they just seem useless especially when you get ganked by 4 elites and aggro a daemonhost or something like that.

Also yea I’m completely new to warhammer 40k in general so I really dont wanna give up on this game as I really enjoy the vibe.

They're fun in a vacuum, but unfortunately I'm getting older and these levels - even with brightness maxed - literally hurt my eyes. It's physically painful for me to play these levels. I'm not a guy who plays with mods but if there was a mod that just removed the blackout effect for me, I'd use the damn thing without hesitation, accusations of "cheating" or whatever be damned.

Rather than that though, I just want to be able to QP into games and not either A.) be the guy that leaves or B.) suffer physical pain as my eye muscles overtense due to the blackout modifier.
