I might have overestimated my skills.
I found this beautiful pattern on pinterest and thought this is my moment to start filet crochet. I knew that anyone says to start small - well, my first row was 327 stitches.
It took me a week to get to the 9th row of 118. At first I thought I'm doing good, but now I think my tension wasn't steady enough. It looks like the first rows of mesh are smaller than the most recent one. I am not sure though, Maybe blocking will do its thing? It's also very wonky if I lay it flat on the ground and try stretching it a little.
I'm scared to waste months on this piece, if it will be all wonky in the end. I'm thinking of frogging it - but i'm not sure if I should restart, giving more attention to the tension, or if I just start with smaller pieces until I built more skill.
EDIT:
just for information, I decided to do dc, ch 2 because I wanted a clearer contrast.
