Crankshaft position sensor or something else?

Upvotes

I just got my 91’ cressida back from a pretty extensive ac repair (whole dashboard got taken apart), i also had them do an oil change. I noticed that the tachometer isnt working at all, and when i stopped at a light my car shut off and the check engine and battery lights came on. Ive got a new battery (less than three months old) and the engine has significantly less mileage than the car itself so its in decent shape and in the time ive had my car ive never gotten a check engine light. From what Ive researched i think its probably the crank shaft position sensor, I do plan on calling the mechanics soon to see if theres any chance they accidentally forgot to connect something or accidentally messed something up but they are closed for the day, does anyone know where the crankshaft position sensor is or if theres anything else i should check that could be causing this problem?
