Ok, I've been trying my luck with some dating apps. I see a few women out Catholic on their profile but their pictures are with them drinking, out clubbing, hanging over male friends etc.

One girl I met and started chatting. She said she has a gay best friend and proceeded to tell me that it doesn't say in the Bible that it's a sin and that people should be able to love who they want. I told her it is in the Bible, but there are sins in the Bible that I have committed too, we are all broken and all have our struggles that we need to to bare so who am I to judge on her friends because let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Surprise, no second date.

I'm just looking for someone who upholds Catholic values, lives a Catholic life so we can grow in our faith together.

It's a minefield out there.

Anyone else done this, going to different church or different hour mass for whatever reason. Saw someone sit in front of near you and you were immediately attracted. And when it was time to greet they smiled at you. And so you decided you’d go next Sunday and hope they were there.

Not “you’ll meet them when you stop looking”, not “meet them at church” not “God is making you wait for a reason” I’m talking, does anyone have good advice for Catholic singles? So tired of hearing all the same stuff. Let’s get real here. 🙏
