I was after one of these for a while (Casio HGW-10) before I stumbled across this. Casio need to start producing these again!

After getting hooked on Casios about a year ago I quickly accumulated a little collection of 15 watches. I had been keeping them in their little plastic stands on a shelf in my room but I got tired of the cluttered look so I bought a case to keep them in. That case had 18 spaces in it...so three were empty. So, I decided I'd fill the remaining spots and then that would be it. Of course it didn't take long to find a couple nice inexpensive models to add which left me with one empty slot. For the last one I decided to splurge and spend a little more so I got a really nice Titanium Wave Ceptor. And now I'm done.

I quit my Apple Watch so it seemed like a good excuse to dip my toe in Casio world

Since getting bx5600 havent wore my 5600ue once 😂 I think MIP is so great, I wont need another square. Beep noise isn’t crazy loud but deffinately louder than 5610u I had. Best daily beater.

And for any more formal ocasion the casioak is just perfect.

Applied the same bleaching treatment to the bezel as I did to my MTD-1043. I left it dipped in bleach for 15 minutes checking every 5. Resulted in a chalky/matte blue which makes the dial really pop.

Too many accumulated in the last month. I think one may have to go? Just not the mtd-1043 & mrw-200, those are keepers.

I’m planning to buy this G-Shock (pictured below) and wanted to get some opinions before I pull the trigger.
I really like the design, especially the metal bezel and the analog-digital combination. My main question is:

Is there any other watch in the same price range that you would recommend instead?

Does this watch work well with most outfits (casual, smart casual, and semi-formal), or is it mainly a casual/sporty watch?

If you own this model, how has your experience been in terms of comfort, durability, and everyday wear?

My beloved Casio watch. The one I’ve been wearing for the last five months- I think the battery is dying. It’s ticking two seconds at a time. I’m sad. I love wearing my watch. I have other watches but they’re all locked away in a storage unit several hundred miles from me. I can’t get to them. I’m sad because I’ve worn a watch all my life and I’ve never been in such a horrible place where I can’t buy anything or afford to have the battery replaced. Walmart has several Casio watches on Clearance but I can’t even afford to look at them.
Our lives have been a nightmare this year.

Took forever to finally arrive, but my W-217H came today. I love my F91Ws, but I’m really liking the larger size of this watch as well.

What Casios were on y’all’s wrists today?

I wanted to put it on a nato strap… but the “khaki” one I got, the color is not even close and would look bad - color is darker and a bit off hue from the watch.

I really want a strap that matches the color closely. So if on the off chance anyone here has this model and managed to find a color matching nato strap, let me know. Otherwise, I think I would have to just trial and error order tan straps until I found one that matches well in person.

For now tho, I’ll just live with the rubber strap. I don’t mind rubber straps, but they just tend to get sweatier because they don’t breathe as much. Which is why I wanted to swap it.

May be a little big but I’m in love with the look of it. Definitely worth the wait.
