2 weeks now since my bull terrier Benjamin has passed. He was with me since he was 8 weeks old till the day he passed at the young age of 14.

A giant cone shaped hole has been left on my heart. Hug your pups a little tighter today, the years go by and sometimes you don’t realize they won’t be there forever. RIP Benji

Experience living in higher floor apartments

Hi bully lovers!

My partner and I adopted our Bull Terrier about 8 months ago, and he’s now just over a year old. We’re considering moving from a garden level apartment to a 4th floor unit, and I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

I’m not too worried about adjusting to more elevator trips for potty breaks, but I do have two concerns:

1- Being a nuisance to the neighbors below. As many of you know, the zoomies can get crazy. Ours also bounces around like a rabbit, so I’m worried about the noise. We already have rugs, but we’d likely need more.

2- Balcony safety. Has anyone had concerns about their Bull Terrier jumping or trying to climb onto a balcony? How did you make it safe?

Any advice or sharing of your experience is appreciated!

Teenage EBT is jumping and nipping us

Hi all, We have a 9 month old EBT who has been hard work for numerous reasons but in the past few weeks he has started to jump and nip at all of us. He mainly does it with my mum and I and I don't know if it's because we're female. There doesn't seem to be a set reason for it as he will do it on walks at any point and will also do it at home sometimes. He isn't holding on to us when he does it but he's obviously big and so we're starting to get a bit scared and nervous to take him out and I don't want that to continue!

I've seen people suggest ignoring him and that doesn't really work as I think he is wanting our attention but it's already hard to not shout and often results in me crying. I've also see some people suggest walking into his space to knock him back so will try that but it's hard to remember to do it in the moment out in the street! I really want to get a hold on this as it can't just be my dad who takes him out and I'm sure it's just him getting over excited or trying to figure out who's top dog between me, mum and him (dad is defo at the top for him).

Thank you - photo attached of Basil refusing to move!

Mind you both the pharmacy and the drive thru workers gave him treats right before this, he just had dinner, and he got a pig ear once we got home.

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, Odin, on Monday morning. I have made posts about him on here in the past, so I just wanted to share some of my favorite photos. Our hearts will never be the same, but we are so lucky we got the privilege of loving him for the last 5 years. He was perfect in every way. Please give your babies some extra squeezes from our family. 🤍

Going out and coming back. Another 3.5 mile hike in Rock Creek Park. This is becoming a thing and I'm not complaining. Neither are they. ♥♥️♥️

What do you use for red & itchy paws?

Eggie gets red and itchy paws from grass. Is there any creams you can recommend to help reduce that?
