If overwatch were to introduce a new support that have a brawl like gameplay. But instead of being used as a antidive like brig, they play aggressively, close to the tank in the frontline. Exchanging brig range for more mobility and survivability. What would make you betray our queen for the new support?

Is it an overall buff or nerf?

I've seen some discourse discussing both sides and want to see what the overall consensus is.

In my opinion it is a massive buff. It allows so much more sustain and consistency in brawls. For the past several comp games I have only played brig and was able to climb from Plat 4 to Plat 1. I just hope this doesn't release a swarm of nerfs upon her in the next patch.

Brigitte Playtime this season: 14 Hours

I would like to have some critiques towards my gameplay and improvement advices. I play overwatch again since a few weeks and lack knowledge of the match up of newer heroes like the duration of Emre Ult if u watch the Vod.

Hey fellow Brig mains!

I'm a long time OW player and have by far most of my hours on Brigitte. Today I had a thought about what I would consider the most difficult heroes to play into as a Brigitte. I'm also very curious about the experience of other Brig mains!

Tank

Most dive tanks like D.va, ball or Doom can be booped away and I thank them for the inspire proc on the way out. I guess Mauga is just someone I always stay far away from. When I'm close to Roadhog I try to keep my shield up until I see him use his hook. It feels so bad to die with so much shield health.

Damage

All kind of long range heroes from Widow to Hanzo and Sojourn. Also flying heroes like Echo and Pharah are a pain. Just can't do anything about them if they have good positioning. I try to stay indoors when I can to either force them to close the distance or just pick someone else to bully.

Close range probably Reaper. His shotguns just melt my shield and even if I get distance he can still chase me and finish me off with the long range ability. This category probably has the most threats for me.

Support

Zenyatta and Ana are probably the worst. I really try to help by shielding off my other supports or dps to keep them alive. Those heroes are usually looking for a pick when they can. Jetpack Cat is a flying hero but just hardly my problem but not a real threat to Brigitte in my experience.

Just some of my thoughts. I mostly play QP and don't switch to another support. It helped me learn how to play into every hero.

What do other Brigitte mains consider the greatest threats?

Any tips for someone who's basically never touched her but has an understanding on how her kit works for the most part? I probably have an hour on her at best...

Hi everyone, I've played OW for about 100 total hours, mainly playing Ana and Juno because their kits feel relatively simple. Recently I wanted to start learning Brig to help my other support from flanks and try to take a more active role. I would love any recommendations on youtube videos/streamers to watch, and any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I play on console, and I want to make sure I get the most out of her kit without feeling too clumsy, so should I change my binds? Thank you so much!

Started maining Brigitte, ive always wanted to but was scared id be bad or she wasn't good, or wasn't good to pick all the time.

I just did in one night, what i couldnt do on Juno in a month. Got from Silver 4 to Gold 5 in a couple hours. 😊

Treated myself and bought her gold weapons too.
