Is it an overall buff or nerf?

I've seen some discourse discussing both sides and want to see what the overall consensus is.

In my opinion it is a massive buff. It allows so much more sustain and consistency in brawls. For the past several comp games I have only played brig and was able to climb from Plat 4 to Plat 1. I just hope this doesn't release a swarm of nerfs upon her in the next patch.

Any tips for someone who's basically never touched her but has an understanding on how her kit works for the most part? I probably have an hour on her at best...

If overwatch were to introduce a new support that have a brawl like gameplay. But instead of being used as a antidive like brig, they play aggressively, close to the tank in the frontline. Exchanging brig range for more mobility and survivability. What would make you betray our queen for the new support?

I would like to have some critiques towards my gameplay and improvement advices. I play overwatch again since a few weeks and lack knowledge of the match up of newer heroes like the duration of Emre Ult if u watch the Vod.

This is the highest rank I ever achieved. I used to one-trick mercy and my highest was plat 5. I can finally rest. For now im happy if im hard stuck masters or high diamond. This is role-queue comp. I'll see how I do on open queue one day

I used to play brig, she's in my top 10 but recently focused on some other heroes. Now I don't know how to utilize her to 100%. What maps to play her on and whatnot. I dont want to feed.

p.s how do you feel about the inspire change? 12 instant healing upon triggering sounds nice to me.

I'm getting used to playing her in 6v6 but she feels pretty good to me. Feels like she's missing something though and I'm not sure what.

Hihi, are there any custom codes for practicing dropping pulses?

Feel like that’s the one single mechanic i just don’t have enough practice on - like i can catch consistently and know exactly what to do (edge of shield: drop, middle of shield/around team: shove into wall), but i just don’t have the muscle memory yet to react to it like second nature.

One i’m thinking about is hopping in HSK’s brig trainer and figuring out how to disable tracer’s primary fire so it’s JUST really aggro blinks/blinks behind and pulses, but just wondering if there’s a real code out there :3

im still learning brigitte and i love playing her, but i find anytime i might choose to make a slightly more aggressive play my shield will break and ill be left with no movement and inevitably die. does anyone have any advice on
1) how to know when to make a more aggressive play
2) how to go about it without my shield breaking

also i always hear people speaking about inspire procs, what is a proc?

wether or not it’s actually faster (pretty sure it is), you do block damage in between swings. doing this in 1st person is kind of jank because the camera freaks out.

I finally reached all star with only brig! (I accidentally picked Kiriko once but I still won! Lol)

This game mode is very fun.

I've been playing 6v6 for a while now and Brig has been feeling unusable for a while now. Maybe its a skill issue, maybe its how often the character is changing, maybe its just the map or the meta, but this character just gets rolled most of the time.

When i play her, i feel like i can duel only a few tanks with the matchup being in their favour and dueling dps is just a coin toss if the character has burst damage. Not even gonna mention dueling supports because half of them fly away.

Wild idea, but what if shield bash hindered? Mobility creep is a very real thing and the devs have been slowly addressing it, but Brig is just in this weird spot wheres shes a whipbot and mizuki can do everything she does but better. He has a literal root, you cant do anything while chained. Why does mizuki get this exception while brig just has to sit on her hands and play reactively?
