I started playin Bloodstained for the first time yesterday. The outfit never changes on miriam. When I go to equipments and choose one of the body options the regular outfit shows up on Miriam. Only different one is this half-genie outfit (which from what I've seen in the internet it is from a free dlc pack). Can someone explain me how this outfit mechanic works. I understood what the actual mechanic is (what you wear affects your stats) but I don't understand why some things don't show up on Miriam.

Was done in photoshop, digital painting and matte painting; about 20 hours or so.

Comprei Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night para Android quando ele ainda era publicado pela Netease. Agora que o jogo foi descontinuado, estou com um problema.

A campanha principal ainda funciona normalmente. Basta voltar na tela de login do Google e o jogo inicia. Porém, quando tento acessar o Conteúdo para Download (DLCs) ou o Modo Extra, o jogo exige login na conta Google. O problema é que sempre aparece a mensagem "Falha na verificação", impedindo o acesso.

Já tentei reinstalar o jogo, testar outras versões e até baixar APKs de outras fontes, mas o erro continua. Acredito que o problema seja a verificação de licença nos servidores da Netease, que não existem mais.

Também entrei em contato com o suporte da Netease. Solicitei um reembolso, mas informaram que o prazo já havia expirado. Depois perguntei por que eles não lançaram uma atualização removendo a verificação de licença para quem comprou o jogo, evitando que os jogadores perdessem o acesso ao conteúdo pago. Infelizmente, responderam apenas com uma mensagem genérica sobre contratos, sem resolver o problema.

Outra dúvida: eu também tenho Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night no PC pela Epic Games Store. Existe alguma forma de jogar essa versão no meu Xiaomi Redmi 13C, por streaming ou outro método, usando a minha conta da Epic ou da Steam?

Se alguém conseguiu acessar as DLCs ou conhece alguma solução, agradeço muito pela ajuda.

I beat Dominique first try but the issue is I ran out of heals for Bael and I'm not sure how hard he is.

If he is harder than Dominique, I assume I have to beat Dominique without using any heals. Or maybe I should farm more heals, usually 5 Healing Potions and random food I found once in a while was more than enough but now I don't have any food. So was wondering if I should spend more time grinding for ingredients and making different kinds of food as an additional healing source.

At the time of writing, the hardest boss so far was Gremory, took me the most tries. Second hardest was Zangetsu First Fight.

I made a recording to show how to do an out of bounds glitch that I saw other players do in this post. This has been know to the community for a while, but I wanted to highlight it again for the use of saving otherwise good randomizer seeds.

I am calling this "Moonless" because it makes cutting the moon over Gebel, and the moon in the Garden, not required to enter the end game areas. Please let me know if you have a better name.

"Moonless" Requirements: Silver Bromide/Identification/Passplate, Summon Chair, Rhava Bural or Flying Edge, Reflector Ray, High Jump or Invert.

We can use this to save some fun rando seeds that are missing the Zangetsuto, but still have Dimension Shift and the required shards/weapons listed above.

How to preform this out of bounds entry to Glacial Tomb:
Go to the hallway at the Train exit.
Summon a chair near the stair.
Sit in the chair and use the Rhava Bural or Flying Edge while seated.
This allows you to now use reflector ray while seated. Point it toward the edge of the screen and trigger the shard ability.
Once you are out of bounds here, use invert of high jump to travel upwards on the map to the Glacial Tomb.
Once you see the Glacial Tomb, you use the mini map to see where Miriam is and try to keep the dot close to the doorway break on the map while holding forward.
After some time of holding forward near the doorway, Miriam will pop into the Glacial tomb space, but cannot stay in in bounds.
Push pause when you have Miriam at a location that looks to be in bounds.
Uses the suspend function to make a temporary game save and then reload your save file.
You should now be in bounds in the Glacial Tomb.
You can now finish your rando run. Have fun!

If you hit OD from underneath he might drop something like you can do in SOTN with the guy that sells you stuff.

I haven’t played ritual of the night for months since I had beaten the main game as Miriam and didn’t know what to do after that. I remembered you could play through as other characters so I started a new save file with zangetsu and it’s really fun but I’m not really sure how you’re meant to access places meant for Miriam’s reverse and other abilities. In order to reach the oriental sorcery lab I had to scale all the way up the long ass wall using his tether grab (I don’t actually know what it’s called but his chain you can use with the right stick) and there surely has to be an easier way?

5th randomizer seed I have tried to play. 100% the game a while back and saw the randomizer gamemode. Got excited because i enjoyed zelda randomizers. Have not had a single seed that was completable. This is the last one I tried to do and i Farmed every single enemy for every drop and every shard in an attempt to make high jump with Bovine Feather. Negative. I dont know how to do the bridge skip with kung fu boots since people suck at explaining it on youtube (i cant see your inputs if you dont put them on the screen. Just doing it doesnt help anyone)

Please let me know if i just some how missed an enemy or something because this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth for the game.

Possible Solution:
Using Buer summon, it may be able to cross the gap where the chariot is (I forget the name sorry) and using the Kung Fu Boot ability, however I am not skilled enough and dont know how to recreate the 3 combo ability for the longer range kick in the ability combo.

I genuinely don't know. Got on the train for the first time with Zangetsu, admittedly already using shortcuts to have Bloodbringer as both familiar and weapon, and suddenly there were two floating swords. They survived teleporting. Yet to see if there'll still be two on loading the game next, but... yeah. I love this. No idea if its even recreatable.

i wanted to beat Dominique thru heavy use of parries but her pink light jab is unreactable for me, theres no telegraph (except pink light that u see AFTER u get hit bc she used it point blank) and she mixes it with whip attacks that i actually wanna parry. u can also parry this jab but its even more unreactable. this attack is not a problem at all when u dont try to parry her, since she has to fly 4 hours to ur position before actually hitting u with it and its ground only. Is there any interraction/shard/mechanic/familiar/ai trick/tip in the game that will help me not get hit by it while not abandon my playstyle idea? its my first vania ever, i might be missing something

edit: apparently werewolf shield works while parrying as well so thats one way out. thanks for the suggestion. i would still like to know if there are any other options tho? because shield while works around half the time, is not ideal (inconsistent, makes it hard to see her telegraphs and ur parry, behaves weirdly with cross ups, eats a lot of mp and not sure why but maybe makes it harder to secure a riposte with but it might just be a skill issue)

Can someone help me to know where is the last room? Because I already compare with another maps and I dont get that 0.10% left

The run was extremely good, as several movement shards: I believe I got Accelerator (Giant Rat), double jump (Aello), craftwork (Dullahammer), those are before Garden of Silence and reflector ray is from Ordog (dian Cént Cathedral). Eternal Blue is available in shop, Gebels Glasses are in the room with the Macaron (before Bathin), Aegis plate is in Forbidden Underground waterway. Other important/nice that are pretty easy are Shortcut (malediction), Aqua Stream (puppy), deep sinker (sannock), detective eye (Shield Outsider), Optimizer (Poison Toad), Shadow Tracer (mimic), Invert (Ocypete), standstill (Archdemon), High Jump (Fire Elemental), Dimension Shift (Ninja).

Those should be all important (I killed every available enemy, and checked pretty much everything). I couldn’t find the stupid Katana, so have fun beating up Gebel I guess. I am not good with glitches so you could finish the game completely, if you know some. Seed: 2,532,096.

I just spent 3 hours after getting the bad ending searching the whole castle until I finally found this... AAAAA. (30 minutes of that was spent bashing my head into the wall trying to figure out the puzzle in the Celeste room after i accidentally found the room with its key.)

You were the guardian angel of this underappreciated series, a fan before a producer, and all your games just ooze so much soul. Actually, games done by other Japanese producers/directors during your time at Konami, like Castlevania 64 and Circle of the Moon, were also great. I guess it's just Taniguchi specifically that sucks. I hope Konami eventually kicks him out because all he managed to do so far is to bastardize Castlevania, and sell its soul to Chaos.

I'll keep waiting for your return like many other fans out there. I hope we can get some The Scarlet Engagement news soon.

So I'm currently pretty much still using Risky Blade and to upgrade again, I need Platinum. There is apparently only one demon that drops it and it takes a while to spawn.

What I'm doing right now is, board the train, spawn it, kill it (have to use one High Ether) and then if it does not drop it, I exit to title screen and try again, because I don't want to waste money on more High Ether.

The wiki says it's 15% drop chance and I assume it's independent, so technically each time I restart, there should be a 15% chance but I'm probably just unlucky because it never drops. I once got the Poison Resistance Shard instead, no idea if that's even rarer.

Is there any way to increase drop rates or do I have to keep grinding?

Is perhaps the Risky Blade not even worth it? I went for it because I like the attack speed, even though damage is not the best. Currently I'm also trying out Invisible Blade which appears to have a similar attack speed and perhaps even higher range but could be just visual and might be identical to Risky Blade Level 2.
