About his manipulation stunt? Or is he just spicy at the HOH meeting because of the early morning big alliance shenanigans? I don’t watch the live feeds so I’m sure there’s a million conversations I’ve missed. This also might be answered in tonight’s episode

it feels like the episodes this season are SO much shorter than they usually are. like where are the random dr entries?? the goodbye messages after someone gets evicted?? it's missing so much of what we have gotten in the past and it's kind of annoying, i just wish they were giving us more info. in past seasons i felt like i knew something about the cast, this year i feel like i know nothing. i enjoy watching the gameplay and alliances that have formed, but now the scripted dr entries feel more scripted than they have in the past

After bing watching BB while waiting for this season to start, I started thinking, if I could only make it to 1 BB mile stone aka Bucket list, which one would I pick? Besides winning or placing for money 😂 If u make it to Zingbot or OTEV u can't be on the jury, it's 1 of the 3!! I would prob Zingbot

Given the super early Showmance of Lyric & Rome, it makes me wonder: what was the latest Showmance to start on the show? (like most days gone by in the house before finally linking up)

Ok so this is a fairly simple twist, in the first week, before nominations production announces that the nominee that survives the block (specifically the vote, so not including blockbuster winner) gets some sort of secret advantage or power.

The idea behind it being to give the nominees more power and prevent them from being ostracised based on the hoh’s first impressions. If the other players know that a person might receive an advantage they are more likely to include them in plans and alliances and as a result it can prevent them from being perpetual pawns.

As for what the secret power/advatage will be I don’t know, I was thinking it would be interesting to straight up make them the hoh for next week (the announcement could be after noms? Idk) but that might not be in the spirit of the game. But also I don’t think it has to be a big advantage necessarily because the announcement is enough in and of itself to change the nominees’ position.

Is this a good one? Any suggestions for improvement or specific ideas for the advatage are welcome.

Anyone else clocked the number 4 on the HOH wall clock is wrong? Dad joke inspired by Devens, the irritation over the incorrect Roman numeral is legit. Why in the world would production mess up a number on the clock? It’s so dumb I can’t decide if it was missed or intentional….

Do they start counting votes for the time capsule on Thursday? Saturday? Sunday? Does anybody know?

I just don't agree with the Math.

13 votes will be made tomorrow. Yes, you have the Toolshed and as HOH you have 7 voters...(8 in the alliance minus you voting).

If a deal was made to secure Melody's vote that would have been 8 ... And others would have fell in line like they did on the Ashley vote.

Basically, Melody would flip to get off the block and Lyric won't. Getting Rome out might be a 7-6 vote but securing Melody could have had a domino effect to avoid being on the wrong side of an 8-5 vote.

Lyric is your 7 against 6. Melody was willing to turn and it would be 8-5... suddenly Lala, Taylor, Jason (Mr. Opportunistic) and Yash are seeing the numbers against them and flipping.

Instead the Veto was used on an "unflippable vote"? It makes no sense.

I'm genuinely curious what everyone thinks.

Watching Dee and Devens, it feels like they're playing almost entirely for the next eviction instead of thinking about how to actually win the season. E.g Dee thinking that Melody's threat level is too high and trying to vote her out this week instead of later. Devens pulling Lyric out of the block to supposedly get a "one-week" safety while leaving her in the block will actually might incentivize Rome to throw the BBB for her.

They seem willing to burn long-term relationships and positioning just to survive one more week, even when there are opportunities to build something that lasts. It almost feels like they're "throwing" their own win equity.

Is this a Survivor mindset?

In Survivor, you're constantly dealing with 3-day rounds, hidden idols, tribe swaps, and a much shorter game. Maybe optimizing for the immediate vote makes more sense because the game changes so quickly.

But in Big Brother, the game is much longer. Social capital compounds over weeks, jury management matters more, and your reputation follows you the entire season. Players who constantly think one move ahead instead of five often end up boxed into a corner.

Dee is obviously an elite Survivor player, and Devens is one of the most entertaining players ever, so I don't think it's a lack of strategic ability. It just feels like their instincts don't translate as well to BB.

Do you think this is a Survivor vs. Big Brother difference, or am I reading too much into it? I'd love to hear other perspectives.
