it feels like the episodes this season are SO much shorter than they usually are. like where are the random dr entries?? the goodbye messages after someone gets evicted?? it's missing so much of what we have gotten in the past and it's kind of annoying, i just wish they were giving us more info. in past seasons i felt like i knew something about the cast, this year i feel like i know nothing. i enjoy watching the gameplay and alliances that have formed, but now the scripted dr entries feel more scripted than they have in the past

Given the super early Showmance of Lyric & Rome, it makes me wonder: what was the latest Showmance to start on the show? (like most days gone by in the house before finally linking up)

After bing watching BB while waiting for this season to start, I started thinking, if I could only make it to 1 BB mile stone aka Bucket list, which one would I pick? Besides winning or placing for money 😂 If u make it to Zingbot or OTEV u can't be on the jury, it's 1 of the 3!! I would prob Zingbot

Ok so this is a fairly simple twist, in the first week, before nominations production announces that the nominee that survives the block (specifically the vote, so not including blockbuster winner) gets some sort of secret advantage or power.

The idea behind it being to give the nominees more power and prevent them from being ostracised based on the hoh’s first impressions. If the other players know that a person might receive an advantage they are more likely to include them in plans and alliances and as a result it can prevent them from being perpetual pawns.

As for what the secret power/advatage will be I don’t know, I was thinking it would be interesting to straight up make them the hoh for next week (the announcement could be after noms? Idk) but that might not be in the spirit of the game. But also I don’t think it has to be a big advantage necessarily because the announcement is enough in and of itself to change the nominees’ position.

Is this a good one? Any suggestions for improvement or specific ideas for the advatage are welcome.

I don’t know if this caught anyone else’s eye but Drew is acting super weird around Mallory, and constantly trying to get her alone. He’s also asking about switching rooms to sleep near her, commenting on her physique, her smarts, etc. Is this a showmance? Or did I miss out on the disclosing of some plan to manipulate her? All I know is they’re being very cute and awkward together, and if Drew and Mallory start something, I wouldn’t be too upset.

I think that we all knew that Rick was never really here to win, and that it was just for the payout and whatnot. This got confirmed on the feeds.

Winning is not his main goal. If he has to choose between increasing his odds of winning or getting more screentime, he will pick more screentime.

By the way, him immediately going to the returnees and cozying up to them also confirms that his goal is becoming a "reality star" or whatever because he presumably hopes that befriending them will give him more opportunities outside of the house.

I'm sick and tired of people not coming here to win. It's one thing to change your mind while in the house. Perhaps you grow to dislike someone so much that you'd risk your game just to see that person fall. Alternatively, maybe you meet the love of your life and do the inverse. Occasionally, someone totally checks out of the game for whatever reason. These can be interesting because we get to see the change in real time. I also think that it's more interesting to see someone choose between "the personal" and "the game". But when someone never has the main goal of winning and prioritizes "reality star career" over the game? That's bullcrap.

Personally, I think that this is part of why Big Brother Canada had much more intense gameplay. The cast members knew that this was probably their only shot, so they gave it their all.

Melody is a “corporate game show host”….literally an occupation I’ve never heard of.

Do they start counting votes for the time capsule on Thursday? Saturday? Sunday? Does anybody know?

She’s talked plenty about her time on survivor, but I haven’t heard her mention that she was on the challenge. Has she talked about it? And if not, is there a reason why she hasn’t?

I didn't care for Angela BB26 but I'm loving her this time around. I am impressed at how she's playing the game this time vs last time. Love seeing a player learn from their mistakes! Also I've never been a live feeder but I can't stop watching now. How do you all live your lives like this 3 months out of every year?? Is there any way I can see the good stuff from feeds without being glued to them?

I feel like every eviction episode they have houseguests vote that are expected to vote one way for sure, commercial break, and then houseguests that are expected to potentially vote the other way.

I've always wondered if it's revealed any potential alliances or allegiances to anyone in the house.

Anyone else think about this? Sometimes it seems so obvious who is voting together by the commercial break.

First summer in our new house & we’ve been doing movies in the pool every so often…figured we’d catch up on Big Brother this time! 😆

I would LOVE to see the drama unfold if big brother gave them the list of most to LEAST popular players in the votes

i get that in this instance if someone wins a power they may keep it a secret,

but for example with angela CLEARLY getting voted & getting a disadvantage - they should give her a list from MOST to least popular of the week lol

Is it just me, or did the other seasons contain more diversity on the cameras? It seems like since start of stream they have done all four camera feeds on the same person doing something dumb like eating or working out when there is other stuff going on throughout the house. I understand needing some stuff for editing and all- but there has to be more going on that isn’t gameplay than Rome working out or one person eating cucumber alone. I thought the four feeds would mean at least two different scenarios at a time.
