Did Devins get played?! (And by extension, Dee & Angela).

My take is a resounding YES. My thing is, now that Lyric is gone from the block, any CHANCE of breaking up the showmance is OVER. It’s just too ironic for Rome to win BB Blockbuster and stay, meaning the Vets lost a slam dunk chance to break up the power duo. Feels like a wasted week now though I guess Devins sees Melody as a major threat, which I disagree with at this point.

Now, to be fair, I do see arguments for both sides - but I’m a huge Survivor fan and am disappointed at how they’re playing rn. Feels like they’re assuming Lyric will align with them after like a lost puppy and I would be surprised if it turned out that way.

Also, am I missing anything in feeds? Why does nobody in his alliances trust Drew?!? He’s consistently coming in with the best takes, has been incredibly trustworthy, and the Vets are always worried about him! What gives?

Disappointing for me but it is what it is. Any other takes?

Season 27 was hubs and my first season watching BB. We didn't even watch it while airing, but watched last January so I never had a chance to watch the feeds. Now im fully invested in the feeds and have it on all day while I wfh. Im hooked but I miss the surprise of each show along with my spouse. Has anyone found a happy medium between the feeds and the shows? Like only watching feeds on certain days or just completely abandoning the feeds altogether ?

The title kinda says it all, do they whip up outfits between drawing and comp? Or do they make an outfit for everyone and give out as needed? My mom theorized that with outfits like tonight’s, that they get to pick out the pieces? (Sorry if that’s considered a spoiler 😔) this is a stupid question but please don’t downvote me 😭

How smart was devens' decision to use the veto on lyric?

Do you agree with the logic that melody is a bigger threat than lyric, or think that not guaranteeing that one half of the showmance gets evicted was not smart?

Curious if Drew is getting good edits or if he is legit doing well. He's set up great in the house right now, playing both sides but has loyalty to the dominant group. When we first met the houseguests I automatically assumed I wouldnt like him but he actually seems to have great reads on what is going on inside the house.

I am not an avid feed watcher, how well is he actually doing vs what we see in the episodes?

So, this has happened on Survivor too, but tonights episode, Melody said it when Rick put her up like going after women was somehow not a good move. (whether I think SHE was a good move is not the point)

How do these people think they should be taken seriously as players, when they act like any man who targets or puts up a woman is someone "weak" or making a bad move.

Even Haley did a version of that where she started talking shit, then when Rome said something back she is like "why are you so mad that a girl is smack talking"

Like, do you want to be an equal player, or do you think you are inferior to all the guys. Because when you say stuff like this, you can't have both.

People seem kind of salty that Mallory wants to put Dee on the block since she put her on the block. I think the reason it upsets people is because Dee is lovely and we don’t want her to leave.

But didn’t steve do the same exact thing when Becky put him up in week 1 and then he was her opp for the rest of the season? There’s some strategy to this tactic-if you openly are against someone that you have a good reason to be against, that means everyone else knows you’re not gunning for them and you can be brought into things

I wasn’t here for bb17 so I don’t know if people were as frustrated with Steve targeting Becky as they are with Mallory

Given the super early Showmance of Lyric & Rome, it makes me wonder: what was the latest Showmance to start on the show? (like most days gone by in the house before finally linking up)

it feels like the episodes this season are SO much shorter than they usually are. like where are the random dr entries?? the goodbye messages after someone gets evicted?? it's missing so much of what we have gotten in the past and it's kind of annoying, i just wish they were giving us more info. in past seasons i felt like i knew something about the cast, this year i feel like i know nothing. i enjoy watching the gameplay and alliances that have formed, but now the scripted dr entries feel more scripted than they have in the past

Ok so this is a fairly simple twist, in the first week, before nominations production announces that the nominee that survives the block (specifically the vote, so not including blockbuster winner) gets some sort of secret advantage or power.

The idea behind it being to give the nominees more power and prevent them from being ostracised based on the hoh’s first impressions. If the other players know that a person might receive an advantage they are more likely to include them in plans and alliances and as a result it can prevent them from being perpetual pawns.

As for what the secret power/advatage will be I don’t know, I was thinking it would be interesting to straight up make them the hoh for next week (the announcement could be after noms? Idk) but that might not be in the spirit of the game. But also I don’t think it has to be a big advantage necessarily because the announcement is enough in and of itself to change the nominees’ position.

Is this a good one? Any suggestions for improvement or specific ideas for the advatage are welcome.

About his manipulation stunt? Or is he just spicy at the HOH meeting because of the early morning big alliance shenanigans? I don’t watch the live feeds so I’m sure there’s a million conversations I’ve missed. This also might be answered in tonight’s episode
