How does the Copyright Support program work?
When your MakerWorld Exclusive Model is infringed, file an application with the Copyright Support program to provide necessary documents and authorizations. A professional copyright agency, partnered with MakerWorld, will assist you in filing an copyright complaint with the platform hosting the infringed model
Do I need to pay for this service?
Unless otherwise stated, all costs incurred in this process is covered by MakerWorld
Who and what are eligible?
Currently, MakerWorld creators with 300+ followers are eligible for the Copyright Support program. We hope to gradually make this service available to more creators in the future.
In addition, the model submitted for this service must meet the following requirements
- It must be a MakerWorld Exclusive model
- The creator must confirm that it's their original design
- It must not involve any third-party IP
How to apply?
From your profile image on the MakerWorld homepage, [Creator Center] > [Copyright Service] > [Copyright Support] > [Apply Now]
What do I need to submit?
- Basic creator information, including name, phone number, ID cards, etc.
- Proof of creation, such as design drafts, sketches, records of the creation process, etc.
- Proof of publication and the publisher's identity

Keep copyright protection in mind when you are creating! We recommend taking these actions along the way:
- Document the creation process to the best you can
- Publish your work in a timely manner
- Complete copyright registration is always recommended
