My tongue and mouth have been feeling very dry for about 3/4 weeks now. It’s even difficult to swallow. It’s not painful. Drinking water isn’t helping at all. I already have so many health problems that I dread adding another but (of course), I will seek treatment if it’s anything serious.

I got stitches 4 weeks ago and this is how it looks. i still have to wear a bandaid at work and ive been avoiding using this hand but now it’s getting annoying. help me chat

A couple of days ago I stubbed my left foot’s pinky toe on the corner of my bed and since then my toe has felt a little weird so at nights when I would lay in bed I would use my other foot to separate the pinky toe away from the toe next to it and it would give a little ‘relief’. This has been going on for a little under a week now.

I came home today from work and laid in bed as I was lazy and took my socks off and decided to do the same thing but this time I had my gf check my toe for a deformity if it looked swollen or something… instead she found this.

Initially I thought it was a cut from when I stubbed my toe and the skin separated from the force but it’s definitely not a cut and more along the lines of like a wart or cyst of some kind possibly? Does anyone have any idea what this could be or should I go to the doctor for it?

Does this look like a staph infection? I think i got bit by something 3 days ago and didnt notice it until thjs morning when I was doing some heavy bag work. I trained yesterday and didnt notice it when i was kicking pads.

I am 18, 6 foot 2, 77kg, male, i do not take medication but I take supplements like zinc and fish oil and I don't smoke regularly. I found 2 swollen lymph nodes in my neck around 5 weeks ago, they were in vertical to each other, l went to the doctor and it was the usual come back in 2 weeks if they persist, over the two weeks I had multiple more pop up and go away but the first 2 remain. However, these two weeks I smoked cigarettes and drank frequently. I had a blood test and it came back positive for mono although I haven't got any of the symptoms apart from inflamed lymph nodes. The 2 lumps are hard, immovable and are slightly painful. I've had a few pop up and go down in various locations, one in each armpit which gave me server pain, however the main 2 have been present the whole time and are about the size of a marble. Obviously I'm having major panics about it being cancer but I'm not sure what else it could be, if anyone has any idea please let me know.

Have a surgery booked for late August; surgical coordinator confirmed to me the date, time, and location in early June and said he was preparing pre-op packet. Later that week he reached out to confirm surgery date by email and I responded yes. It's mid July, reached out last week for any updates on pre-op packet... no response. Reached out through patient portal on Monday evening to confirm everything was on track... no response. What do I do?

I don't need the pre-op instructions, I have one from before I rescheduled, but still - no response?

And is 172cm normal with age 13?

I don't know if this was a bite/sting in the first place but I don't know how else to explain it. We were at the beach in north wales and my son came crying and screaming out of the water saying something hurt him. His top was ripped about an inch wide where whatever it was had got him. We couldn't see anything there but there was a very faint tiny spot. It didn't look red or angry. He calmed down after about five minutes so we thought maybe a crab had nipped him. Then the scab showed after about 5-7 days. I thought maybe he's been itching and cause the scab himself. Another week later, these little spots have appeared surrounding the scab. We are perplexed as to what could cause this?! Jellyfish don't rip tops according to Google, but he had one of those activewear tops on so the tear ended up running around the top and it was basically a rag. If it was driftwood surely he would have had a graze or something where it had hit him. We are baffled, any ideas anyone?

Not asking for advice here, but are there any differences between having a really bad COPD flair or heart failure ?

My mom has severe asthma and COPD and recently she was on her big oxygen concentrator at 5 liters and her portable one at 3. She refused assistance and got over it after like an hour. She's had a persistent wet cough for a couple of days. not covid.

She still couldn't breathe. She's really stubborn.

Is this jaundice or something else concerning. Everything I looked up I have no symptoms and feel fine besides my eyes seem slightly yellow mostly around edges. I was at the beach for a week and have been home for about 4 days idk if that could mean anything. I was thinking about waiting a couple days and seeing if they are still the same or worse then scheduling an appointment. I also have a vacation where I would go out and drink one night in 2 days but am contemplating it now. Advice or thoughts
