I’m watching Dusk Beyond the End of the World on HiDive and its quality and performances feel as though they’re all over the place.

Generally I believe the Sentai team does decent dubs. I very much adored ADV Films back in the day so I admit I’m biased in that regard. However, every now and then I seem to run into a title on HiDive that’s either outright awful or is unpredictable in whether the translation, direction, and performance are going to good in any particular episode.

Has anyone else noticed this? If so, any ideas as to why the quality can be so random?
