A couple nights ago me and a couple friends ordered Wendy’s though the app.
The inside had already been closed for the night it being 11 pm. I was the one driving so ultimately I’d be the one ordering. I didn’t have the money to pay for all 3 at that time and I didn’t feel like having the burden of paying someone else back, so we did did 3 mobile orders at one time.
When we had gotten up to the window the dude practically yelled at us and he was basically half way out the window making arm gestures and he said “Ladies we’re gonna let it slide this time but you CANNOT do 3 mobile orders at once”. We had to pull around front cus our food wasn’t done, I don’t care about that, but it was the manager that came out and gave us our food. I apologized and she said he was just cranky and she also seemed sorry.

One of my friends had assumed that maybe we overloaded their system? What did we do wrong? Also what would they have done if they “didn’t let it slide”??? Make us drive away without food after paying? Spit in our food? Genuinely

I’ve been on a Korean bbq kick lately and just saw Wendy’s now has it on their menu!

App won't let me order salads. I tried to use it so many times. I called support and it is really lacking. The same man sounding answered on 2 different days told me to delete it and reload it. I did so and it wouldn't let me log back in. I called again and he said the app was down which the site on google say they weren't having problems. Luckily I saw on reddit to try to turn off my wifi and that was the fix. I logged in again and it still doesn't show salads on the order. They have a very buggy app. I ordered a few times. There food is horrible the don't have anything but fried and the quality went way down since I used to eat there some years ago. In my area North Florida the locations are filthy in the kitchen and the workers look filthy. They put your preorder in the middle of the restaurant where the napkins are where anybody can take it. I think I will not be going there anymore.

This has been happening for a long time. I would order a baked potato, and that’s the item I REALLY wanted. I’d order a burger for later or food for my girlfriend as well, but 80% of the time I wouldn’t get the baked potato. I’ve gone to Wendy’s multiple times since then, (I would never DoorDash it again) and often I’ll try to order a baked potato at the speaker and they tell me they are out of potatoes for the night. But then immediately after leaving, I would check DoorDash and they would be available at the same Wendy’s. I’ve always wondered why, I don’t go to Wendy’s much anymore bc I truly just LOVE the loaded baked potato and that’s the only thing I want. But is there something that’s not allowing them from taking the potato off of DoorDash? I’ve always wondered what would happen if I ordered only a baked potato on DoorDash after they told me they were out of them at the store. But I wouldn’t want to waste a dashers time with that nonsense.

Are they annoying to make?
Do you run out after a certain amount are sold often?
Is there a reason that the availability of the baked potato can’t be reflected through DoorDash?

I don’t care that much, this is genuine curiosity, because I love that baked potato and can’t seem to get it most of the time.
