A couple nights ago me and a couple friends ordered Wendy’s though the app.
The inside had already been closed for the night it being 11 pm. I was the one driving so ultimately I’d be the one ordering. I didn’t have the money to pay for all 3 at that time and I didn’t feel like having the burden of paying someone else back, so we did did 3 mobile orders at one time.
When we had gotten up to the window the dude practically yelled at us and he was basically half way out the window making arm gestures and he said “Ladies we’re gonna let it slide this time but you CANNOT do 3 mobile orders at once”. We had to pull around front cus our food wasn’t done, I don’t care about that, but it was the manager that came out and gave us our food. I apologized and she said he was just cranky and she also seemed sorry.

One of my friends had assumed that maybe we overloaded their system? What did we do wrong? Also what would they have done if they “didn’t let it slide”??? Make us drive away without food after paying? Spit in our food? Genuinely

This has been happening for a long time. I would order a baked potato, and that’s the item I REALLY wanted. I’d order a burger for later or food for my girlfriend as well, but 80% of the time I wouldn’t get the baked potato. I’ve gone to Wendy’s multiple times since then, (I would never DoorDash it again) and often I’ll try to order a baked potato at the speaker and they tell me they are out of potatoes for the night. But then immediately after leaving, I would check DoorDash and they would be available at the same Wendy’s. I’ve always wondered why, I don’t go to Wendy’s much anymore bc I truly just LOVE the loaded baked potato and that’s the only thing I want. But is there something that’s not allowing them from taking the potato off of DoorDash? I’ve always wondered what would happen if I ordered only a baked potato on DoorDash after they told me they were out of them at the store. But I wouldn’t want to waste a dashers time with that nonsense.

Are they annoying to make?
Do you run out after a certain amount are sold often?
Is there a reason that the availability of the baked potato can’t be reflected through DoorDash?

I don’t care that much, this is genuine curiosity, because I love that baked potato and can’t seem to get it most of the time.

I’m really enjoying the annual frosty card. started getting frosty with breakfast a few months ago, and it brightens the start of a work day. This time I also got lucky with a massive order of home fries (part of 2?for $3 deal)

My best friend and I snuck out of highschool during 4th hour and went to Wendy's, I kept this as a memento. Circa 2010

I've heard August 3rd, but I want some additional confirmation. It's my partner's favorite food and they are up a wall about it coming back! Has anybody started the training on how to make it yet?

The Spicy Baconator

Did anyone receive their prizes from the prize drops a while back? I won the charm bracelet and was super excited about it. I was just thinking about it and realized I never got it. Anyone else??

I really believe that there should be a chili Combo option. I don't even understand why chili is even considered a side. As far as I've known chili has always been the entree of a meal. So, why can't we have a chili with a fry and drink combo?

Mine was more like an Oreo Brownie Batter Vanilla Frosty Swirl!

I tried one last night and I'm unsure, Should it taste like crushed Oreo mixed with some Oreo goop?

I'm not a fan of Oreo in general which is why I went with brownie batter.

But I wasn't expecting that taste.

Was it a mix up, or does Wendy's uses the Oreo cookie as the brownie batter?

Did a mobile order for two combo meals. One was perfect but the other (a baconator) was missing and there was just this container with one slice of cheese in it's place.

I didn't notice at the drive-thru cause I felt in the bag 2 containers and 2 fries, didnt realize one of them was this lol. Not super upset but it's just really funny. The Wendy's I went to has always been really bad so not super unexpected. I did get the minon meal toy so I am happy anyways.

New poster, but I normally get Wendy’s around 2-3 times a month since it’s convenient for one of my work locations.

I’ve always gotten the same large biggie bag order and always paid around $8.30ish. Today I got the same thing and it was $9.66. Did they increase the price again? Seems a bit too high of a jump if I’m gonna continue getting a meal there a few times a month.

I had a free double for 800 points. Extra pickles and onions, no mayo. The usual key fob free Frosty. Really hit the spot late night. Nice that they don’t cordon off my preferred seating section on the weekend and I can hang out in peace. Obviously, the bun is rendered skimpy. I wouldn’t mind a traditional Kaiser deli sandwich roll. They really satisfy hunger, but wouldn’t work for the chains.

Does Wendy’s buy their lettuce from Taylor Farms? Aka the Taco Bell explosive diarrhea lettuce that’s gotten recalled?

Edit: there is no such thing as a single patty baconator. Even the son of baconator has 2 patties. Whatever yall!
