Hi guys im new to weevils but I love them so much, I was curious as to what a baby weevil looked like and I only saw one image online and it looked like a little grub. Is that really what they look like? If so how do they turn into weevils from that?

Dude was stuck on his back in front of a building, I put him near some rocks and a tree so he didn’t get squished

At first I thought he was dead because my dog gave him a little shock but he turned out to be fine and freed him! I searched it up, he is indeed a cocklebur weevil and is very pretty lol. Boots n’ snoots!
