Dude was stuck on his back in front of a building, I put him near some rocks and a tree so he didn’t get squished

got this huge assignments in college last year and wanted to share it with some fellow weevilists lol. the theme was animal stylization study, so I chose an animal most pleasant to draw: weevil. took me some months to finish. here we have the lightbulb weevil, the clay weevil, poorly sewn plush weevil.. and much more.

Caught this lil buddy walking on my sidewalk. Snoot bootin and all. 😍

He will be placed back outside once it stops storming 😅

At first I thought he was dead because my dog gave him a little shock but he turned out to be fine and freed him! I searched it up, he is indeed a cocklebur weevil and is very pretty lol. Boots n’ snoots!
