Obviously the student apartments seem like the right thing to do after dorms DONT DO IT 800 per bed is horrible when you can live with other people you know at a normal apartment that’s way nicer and way bigger for about 400-500 per person please don’t fall for it. Not only are they expensive and charge everyone $800 they don’t even put it to good use. My student apartments the AC kept going out during 90° weather the maintenance guy was rude and mean acting like it’s my fault I don’t wanna sleep in a 80° apartment I was also so scared for my cats who live with me :( until I moved out the AC was not fixed and continued this issue giving me and my roommates no answers and just “solving” it with a portable AC unit that does nothing until they “figured out” the issue parking is also horrible for some apartments the tow trucks give no care with unregistered cars! So please don’t give $800 or more to an apartment that’s way nicer doesn’t care for students health and are using them!

President Keller has been going all in with AI at UNT, essentially trying to turn UNT into a data and AI university, with a major part of this expecting faculty to get AI grants. This might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but now the federal government is redirecting the AI grant money away from universities. Unfortunately for President Keller, this is what happens when you chase fads instead of sticking to a set of core beliefs. Read more about it here:

More and more questions arising regarding the detrimental effects of edtech and AI in education, while President Keller is full steam ahead with more online classes, more AI, and shorter degree times. This will cheapen the value of UNT degrees, while raising the direct costs for students. In other words, with the new tech fees President Keller has added, students are paying more but receiving a worse experience. President Keller's main concern is collecting those extra tech fees to throw at the budget deficit.

President Keller: How about we try something like this at UNT? How about banning or reducing tech in first-year classes?

I remenber back at tcc, they held a small mini anime convention and other universities hold them too. I been working on a cosplay that I would love to break into and test before anime frontier in December

I am thinking about applying to the alumni association office at UNT. Has anyone worked there currently or in the past if so please tell me about your experience and what is a need to know. Any little of advice helps.
