2-pantoja and alex pereira both fought opponents of a similar rank to moicano and took them to war,showing that a champion isnt necessarily gonna dispose of a top 10 guy effortlessly,which makes this an impressive win

3-moicano was financially motivated for this fight

I've seen a lot of people recall Ank mostly dominating this fight, but watching it back, this was a really close call. Now, I am not suggesting Pereira won the fight, watching it live I had a feeling Ank did just enough to get the decision. 1 and 5 are decently clear Pereira rounds, 2 and 4 are clear Ank rounds, and that third round is a close call to make, and a ton of people think Alex won that round on damage. The media scorecards were actually almost 50/50 on who won the fight. 48-47 in either direction is a very realistic scorecard.
