A new era is upon UCR baseball.

After finishing the season 15-37 overall and 10-20 in Big West play, while hitting .236 as a team and posting an 8.43 ERA, it was time for the Highlanders to rebuild from the ground up.

UCR needed more than a quick fix. It needed a reason to believe it could climb out of the hole.

Enter Gregg Wallis, the new head coach of the Highlanders, who's hoping to lead UCR to its first winning season since 2010 by changing the culture of the team.

Just the kind of reset the program desperately needs.

I’ve been experiencing ant invasion and it keeps getting worse. I’ve used bug spray and ant baits/traps. There‘s nothing that’s working out. I even called my places landlords and they’ve not been helpful either. I was wondering if everyone else is experiencing the same problem?

I’m an incoming freshman at UCR and applied to several work-study jobs on Handshake for the upcoming semester, but I haven’t received any emails or calls back. I have 2 years of work experience, lots of volunteer experience, and awards in my resume, so I’m not sure what the issue is. Are there other places I can look for work-study jobs besides Handshake?

Also, is there anything I should know about having a work-study job compared to a regular on campus job?

I had a college corps interview 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. Does this mean I didn’t get the job or do they usually take long to reveal whether you got the job or not. I honestly don’t care as I just applied because I saw the promotional flyer on instagram.
