Today I put some tracks in my play queue from a playlist I share with my girlfriend. After listening to them (and thus normally cleared from my play queue), my girlfriend, with which I DON'T have duo premium, was listening her own playlist later in the evening, and MY play queue popped in her queue...

How the FUCK did my play queue that I set on my personal account, on my personal device, end up on her app, on her personal device, on her personal account?

Does anyone wants to start a jam with Japanese music? I like listening to jpop a lot and want to join and find people who has the same taste of music 😁

Whenever I enable Mix on a playlist, Spotify stops rendering the dynamic background and just shows a plain black screen. The playlist artwork still loads, but the ambient colors never appear.

I've tried clearing the cache, updating the app, and restarting my phone with no luck. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is there a fix?

IDK if I'm bugging out or if somehow the feature got removed, but when I used to search a song and play it, it would automatically launch the radio feature (I think) and play a bunch of songs, now the song i searched keeps on repeating.

So now if i want to listen to the radio of the song I have to... Click the three dots, scroll down to the TENTH option, and start playing the radio.

If this was recently changed im taking my ass straight back to deezer lol

I had a spotify family subscription and i recently have ended it and resubscribed again, and as i was trying to invite my friends again it gave them that "find another Spotify premium subscription that suits you" and now i cant add none of my friends, what should i do?

When I had Spotify Premium, my Discover Weekly had those genre filter buttons at the top (Indie, Country, Rock, Hip-Hop, etc.). One day I selected Country just to see what the recommendations would look like.

After my Premium subscription ended, the filters completely disappeared, but my Discover Weekly stayed stuck on that filter. Now it only recommends Country songs.

I've already tried opening Spotify on my phone, PC and web player, clearing the cache, and waiting for over two weeks (two Discover Weekly updates), but nothing has changed. Every Monday it refreshes, but it still gives me almost only Country songs.

It feels like the filter is still applied to my account, but since I don't have Premium anymore, I can't change or remove it.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is there any way to get Discover Weekly back to normal without subscribing to Premium again?

On the Spotify Android app (version 9.1.64.1676), the songs play normally, but when it ends, playback stops instead of automatically continuing to the next song.

Sometimes Spotify briefly switches to the next track and immediately pauses before any audio plays.

Restarting the phone or clearing the cache temporarily fixes the issue, but it eventually returns.

Does this happen to anyone alse or is it just me?

My shuffle keeps playing the same songs in the same order. Anyone else?

Is anyone having trouble with their playlist or queue not syncing between devices? Like PS5 and PC and Android? I'm gaming but have to chore, so I go to the PC and fix the queue really quick (bigger screen), then move to my phone so I can start moving and grooving and.. most of the chances didn't translate. PC is still showing songs that already played on the PS5 in queue, and going to the Android the queue isn't showing the changes I made on the PC. A bit of a first world problem, but I'm curious if anyone else is having similar issues.

So my friend and I started a Spotify blend. He only sent the link to me. But then a couple days later a random person who neither of us knew (the person had 0 followers and 0 people they followed) somehow joined.

We both decided leave the old blend and to make a new blend. A few days later (today) another random person has joined (this time they had one follower and follow 76 people, most of which are singers/bands).

We only sent the link between ourselves and we have no clue who these people are. How and why is this happening?? Has anyone else had this issue?

I have Premium and set my dad up profile which I know he used at the start.

I recently off handedly mentioned the cost and he told me to cancel it as, "he never uses it". Can I check if he does actually use it? I'm prefectly happy to keep paying if he does and is​ just saying to cancel to save me money..

But if not I may as well drop down to a single account.​

I was busy fighting my Bluetooth settings and heard a song by a young female singer, I only caught a glimpse of her name, her best song might have only had 18K listens. She was funny, had one song giving someone a hard time about going to the Harvard of the South. And another about how she doesn't wanna go to a wedding, I think an old boyfriend.

Does anyone else have this error on Spotify covers when they have the largest font size on iPhone? (Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes, I'm writing this with the translator)

This is less of a question but more of a way to let you know that Spotify apparently does not like it when you download songs. It worked alright and then I downloaded my On Repeat playlist(30 songs), it ended up getting slow and annoying. I deleted them just in case, and there it goes back to being decent.

Edit: my phone is iPhone 13 Pro Max.

This is a sudden problem. Wasn’t an issue before. Really need a fix.

I’m honestly so disappointed and frustrated that there is a 15-hour/month cap on audiobook listening, that is not openly disclosed.

Under the audiobooks, it says “included with premium”. I’m in the middle of a sequel to a book and it just cuts off, no warning.

It should say “limited access with premium” or “some listening included with premium.”

But I guess I’m more irritated at the way all subscriptions are gouging us. There’s the “free” membership, the “premium” membership, then the “premium+the things you actually want” membership. And then a streaming service can just take your favorite show away (or just the middle 13 seasons).

Also sucks that they pay authors and artists pennies.

Is there a better way?
