The device is fire but empty.
I will probably buy a game next month.

Pokémon number 39. Jigglypuff. A Pokémon that defined an entire generation of fans left and right across the globe due to her persistence in appearing in just about every game that has the Pokémon series attached to it. But believe me when I say there's a LOT more reasons as to why you should be appreciative towards this pink puffy ball.

Her design just screams perfection. The combination of a round form combined with the color pink, mixed with a fluffy, soft consistency, the ears of a cat, and the voice of a lovely singer make it easier to appreciate on the eyes. Reject the harsher, more fierce, yet incredibly overrated designs like Charizard in favor of something simpler and cuter!

She comes from a region littered with middle-of-the-road Pokémon and easily stands out amidst the crowd of Kantonian commoners like Weedle, Ratatta, and Pidgey. What Genwunners will refuse to tell you is that their own region they choose to glaze has a LOT of NPC-type Pokémon. They give into their delusions of "mid Pokémon = good Pokémon" just because it helped them win a battle amongst Youngster John. But Jigglypuff isn't like that! She always manages to stand out in a good way whenever she reveals herself when crawling out of the tall grass. Her pink glory is revealed almost instantly and her fluffiness could not be ignored for even a millisecond.

To those who mention her singing and scribbling as moot points, I want you to take a second to realize just how wrong of an idea that sounds. Both are known and recognized art forms that can be composed in just about any way, shape, or form. And because she prefers to go about creating it in an avant-garde and experimental fashion does not give you the right to call it 100% bad. If you think it is bad, then perhaps you were better off looking at someone else's rich portfolio instead. And for the record, her singing was so good that her famed "Song of Jigglypuff" got a disco cover in 1976. Let Jigglypuff continue to be a known singer and caricature artist.

And for those who mention her rivalry with Clefairy...they were never rivals. In fact, just the other day I saw both of them doing the Yoggity Spoggity in their swimsuits on a Pokétropolis beach.

So if you had one thing to take away from all of this, what would it be??? If you said "to appreciate Jigglypuff every day", then you're right.

THE INDUSTRY IS HOLDING HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HOSTAGE SO THAT SHIGGY CAN'T MAKE A GAME

When asked if he’s interested at all in directing games again, Miyamoto said:

“Right now, I’m not really thinking about it. But with Pikmin Bloom, I got involved because I wanted to make it myself, so depending on the theme, if I can do something interesting with it, there might come a time when I want to do it. I have the know-how (laughs). Nowadays, if you want to make one game, you have to get 200 people involved, so it’s tough. Movies are also big productions, but in those cases, the procedural people are the ones who keep the production running. The producers on set are really busy, though.”

SHIGGY'S OWN FAMILY IS CONSPIRING AGAINST HIM

Famitsu next asked if there’s anything he’d like to pursue. Regarding that, he stated:
“I don’t really have anything specific in mind. I would be happy if I could start a movement where ‘everyone and their dog’ joins in, but there’s nothing that I feel like I’m going to see through to the end. My family is telling me, ‘Isn’t it about time you stopped?’ (laughs).

SHIGGY HINTS THAT HE'S AN ASSASSINATION TARGET

Miyamoto, who is now 74 years old, also said the following when asked if he has any feelings of hoping to continue doing what he’s been doing in ten years:

“Ah, yes, that’s right. The feeling of ‘I hope we can keep going’ fits perfectly. On set, we say things like, ‘It wouldn’t be surprising if I collapsed tomorrow, so make sure you’re okay (laughs).’ I just hope we can keep going without any problems.”

Finally, there’s an interesting note about Miis. While discussing how there seem to be more foreigners in Japan now, Miyamoto brought up how it’d be neat to see those characters on personal IDs.

He shared the following:

“… what’s interesting is that westerners really put a lot of effort into creating their Miis. In the past, it was said that Miis weren’t necessarily designed to suit the faces of westerners, so I’m happy about this. I think it would be really interesting if this wasn’t limited to Pikmin Bloom, but could be linked with Nintendo Accounts and we could collect hundreds of millions of Miis.

Miis use very little memory. Nintendo is a company that is very particular about how to achieve the maximum effect with as little memory as possible. Normally, an avatar can easily take up several megabytes, but Miis are made up of only a few hundred bytes. This compact design started with the specification of wanting to fit dozens of people into a Wii controller, and with this, even if we had hundreds of millions of them, they would probably all fit into that small amount of memory.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if, in the future, Mii characters were attached to personal IDs all over the world? I can’t help but wonder if that’ll ever happen. I’ve been talking about something that sounds like a trade secret, but this is the kind of thing that should be spread around (laughs). Thinking about things like that makes every day fun.”
