I put up a post a couple days ago seeking out graphic designers in the community but I didn’t receive any responses. I’ll be exploring other avenues to hire someone to create the logo for me.

I wanted to get some feedback from the community here on a team name and concepts for the logo. So any soccer (football) fans please chime in and give me any recommendations!!

The current working team name is simply Thrice United. The inspiration came from the concept of playing in triangles…three sides to a triangle…Thrice. I am NOT committed to this name and would be open to other ideas.

It can straight up have Thrice in the name, or it can take inspiration from an album or song title, or reference to a lyric or theme.

SO….feel free to share any ideas you have for a Thrice-inspired soccer team name and any cool ideas you might have for a logo. Thanks in advance!! 🍻

I'm a particularly new (and young) thrice fan. i got into them around 2-3 years ago and have been listening to them on and off. I know other people who have heard of Thrice, and I know they have songs on Guitar Hero, so I was curious to know if they were pretty big in the 2000s or 2010s? I know they have under 1mil listeners, so I'm pretty skeptical.

Curious if we have any graphic designers here that would be available to help me create a Thrice-inspired soccer logo/badge.

The logo would be used for a competitive online soccer team, so nothing too serious.

Going through a closet came across this shirt I loved back in college (03-07) and thinking about selling it but looking to see what any experts here might think market value could be. Not interested in selling right now but just trying to see if this a just a cool vintage shirt or a holy grail, i cant find any other references to it online

So, when was your first time hearing Thrice? Always kinda curious to hear for bands like this with long career spans and several different sounding albums. When, where, what album, what did you think?

My first time hearing was when they were supporting AFI c. fall 2001 tour. Crystal Ballroom with Berzerk opening, Thrice, and AFI headlining. So much fun and forever a fan since.

I am super excited about my new tattoo. I’ve had this idea for a while based on the lyric “There was a time when I tried to bind and bottle up the sea.” I struggle with OCD and one of my subtypes is black and white thinking. This song resonates with me as I go through ERP therapy and try to challenge that thinking. It also speaks to me as I work on deconstruction from conservative Christianity. My tattoo artist nailed my idea and brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectation. The added color reminds me that beautiful things happen when you stop trying to control everything.

I also love D&D so I asked for it to be a potion bottle instead of a more traditional bottle.

this is one of the coolest items in my collection.

only 2,000 made, leather cover, four 10” records, each one colored to correspond with the theme of the album, commentary and notes from the band for every song in the whole index.

this is one that’ll stay with me for as long as i’m vertical.

Any thoughts on the September St. Louis show? Saw thrice as an opener recently and trying to find a show where they will headline and the St. Louis show seems out of place - slotted between festivals and then opening for Taking Back Sunday. Should I get tickets to this one?

Been listening since TAITA. Just booked tickets for a September show in NJ. I'm giddy as hell. What am I in for? How have recent concerts been? Appreciate you all 😊

A few things I wanted to note:

• This isn't my video. It randomly showed up in my YouTube feed and I figured it deserved a home here too.
• The sound is incredible. No idea if OP used an external mic, mixed in the soundboard audio, or if it genuinely sounded this good in the venue.
• I don't remember seeing Thrice with lighting this elaborate before. I'm assuming it's Jimmy Eat World's lighting rig, but it adds a ton to the performance and OP does a great job capturing it.
• Also, can we start taking bets on how long Dustin's hair is going to get?

Anyone have an idea of their set time for Boston?

Just got home from the headline show in Albany. This was my 7th time seeing Thrice live and I must say, these guys just keep getting better. I brought a couple friends who’ve never really listened to them, let alone heard them live! It was so incredible getting to witness them experience the legend that is Thrice for the first time! The venue was small and intimate and the guys absolutely crushed it. I’ll never get tired of seeing this band live. I can’t wait til next time! See yall at the next show!
