Discussion His ass always gets frozen in serious moments 💔
The same happened in the final battle too lol , almost makes us feel the protagonist is mortal which very few games do

It’s my first time playing this amazing game. I’m a little over 60 hours in and I’m still in Novigrad. I was wondering if that’s a good pace, and whether it’s better to wait until I’ve finished the main story before starting the DLCs.
Thanks…

CD is very good at detail with even the smallest things, especially when it comes to player choices. So i find it odd that they wouldn't change anything after such a huge moment like this. Obviously we get it mentioned in the ending of the main quest but after no nilfgaard soldiers replacing Rodanian ones and everyone still acting as if Radovid is still alive. Plus Shani and Geralt even talk about him like he is still alive in hearts of stone.
Has this ever been explained or was this is a case of too many changes to make and didn't have the time to implement?

Do you finish all the "?" and contracts all over again or just focus on secondaries and main quests? first time trying the NG+ and im a bit unsure about what to do, ik it's a personal choice but i wanted to hear some opinions!

When I look at this image, I immediately hear a dark, eerie, melancholic sound coming from a haunted forest in my mind. Do you feel the same way? 🤔

level 9 rn on my first playthrough. Should I get the Nilfgaardian armor from Crows perch or should I wait 1 level and get the Griffin school armor ? I'm running an Alchemy/Combat build as of now

Hello. As the title says I've encountered this weird graphical glitch on the ground texture near Toussaint palace. So far this is the only place I've seen it happens and only with this texture in particular. Any clues as to what it might be ? Thanks in advance !

Hello Everyone, first time posting here and its with a problem i hope I can get help with.
So I've been playing witcher 3 on PC Dx12 version on maxed out graphics (including RT, Hairworks, DLSS, and Framegen) on myprevious pc build with no issues.
Previous PC Build:
Rtx 4080 Super
I5 13600KF
Msi 790 Tomahawk
4tb gen 4 m.2
32 gb 6400mhz cl36
Recently, around a month ago, I upgraded to some new components. For the first few weeks of playing the game it was super smooth, running the same exact settings and mods I had in my previous build. The last week or 2 i've been having stuttering issue after playing for around 15-30mins, note that there is no crash afterwards just stuttering. Its starts out as a microstutter ,as if it skips a pixel, every few seconds but with 20 seconds or so it every other pixel. I know my build isnt the issue as it runs most other higher end games flawlessly. Ill leave my new pc specs below with what i've tried so far.
New PC build:
RTX 5080 TUF OC
9850x3d
Asus X870E-E
4tb gen5 m.2
Corsair 32 gb 6000mhz CL 36
What I've tried so far:
-game fresh install/game files verified
-turning off DLSS and frame generation
-limit fps to 144hz on nvidea control panel
-change the power option for the GPU to max performance.
-increase the antialiesing ro x16
-set the shader cache to unlimited
-got memory leak fix ibi file from nexus mods.
-lowering ram speed to 4800mhz (default and turning of EXPO in the bios)
I would apprecaite any help from anyone whose had this issue previously as the game is currently unplayable for me.
Thanks to all ahead of time.

(I know the screenshot is from the Gwent game but I also heard the music when playing The Witcher 3, so I post on the most general sub)
So, I would really like to know the title of this song because I can't find it anywhere on streaming platforms where I have my personal playlist (like spotify or deezer).
It's the song that you unlock by completing Geralt's travel in the Gwent game (not the in-game Gwent). All I want is to know what the hell the official title is in the soundtrack, so I can add it to my playlist. I know there is a title right here in the screenshot but I didn't find anything using it (that could mean I'm stupid, but anyway).
Thanks in advance. Also, sorry for the approximate english, because I'm french. And if this is not the right sub/flair, then I apologize.

Hi, I’m having a problem: I want to play *The Witcher 3* on my PS4, but it’s bugged. It won't let me load saved games, though the game works fine if I start a new one. The issue is that I can't skip dialogue, the game takes a long time to launch (over 5 minutes), and if I close the game, it won't let me load that new save file.
Just to clarify, I have the physical version of the game. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled it, and I’ve turned off the console and unplugged it for 30 seconds, but the error persists. This only happens with this game (more details are in the video and picture in the comments).

Hey everyone,
I'm having a frustrating issue in The Witcher 3. Whenever I move the character or turn the camera, the screen darkens and has a flickering/ghosting effect. When I stop moving, everything looks completely normal.
I have already tried almost every common fix suggested online, but nothing worked:
- Disabled Motion Blur and Blur in-game.
- Switched Ambient Occlusion to SSAO and turned off Ray Tracing.
- Turned off Frame Generation and adjusted DLSS settings.
- Changed Display Mode to Exclusive Fullscreen.
- Disabled G-Sync / VRR completely in NVIDIA Control Panel.
- Changed Monitor Response Time / Overdrive (tried Normal, Fast, Extreme, and Off).
- Adjusted/Disabled Local Dimming on my monitor.
Has anyone experienced this specific issue or knows a fix or a workaround I might have missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
