As titled, I am 60hrs in and still feel I absolutely suck at the game. I used to main reinhardt in ow and was quite mediocre at hitscan so I have picked up sledge lately.
The (above average) game you saw was literally the first bronze 2 game I won after losing like 10 conseutive games. Video is a bit long because I wanted to show unfiltered gameplay, so how much do I actually suck?? thanks in advance!

I played the hell out of season 1. Just got back into it last week and I forgot how great it was.

The issue is none of my mates want to try it.

How do I keep the fun alive when I’m regularly alone on the objective or watching my team mates solo push and die one after another?

What class should I play? Any suggested play styles to use until I can find some other people to add?

A bit of a rant…

I had back to back games where my team was seeded highly and then one teammate instantly disconnects. The RS penalty for all that is crazy, let a lone the complete time waste.

Just let me leave the game without penalty (only active when someone abandons first).

We even have the mini knife already, it’s right there.

Playing unranked cashout the game crashed after the 1st round ended. I reconnect before the first cashout is even deposited. I finish the match and get greeted with this message.

Why is this a thing? So embark wants to encourage you to not even bother reconnecting and go play something else?

I have an ATK U2 plus(recently bought) .

It works flawlessly on other fps titles , but in the Finals it sometimes doesn't register a click or two (Both M1 and M2) . Sometimes It doesn't ADS while shooting and vice-versa

The Switches are RMAed as I thought they were the cause of this problem , but it still wasn't fixed .

I am using a usb extender so EMI interference is unlikely .

It works fine on wired mode .

Does anyone else has this issue ?

Me and my friends were genuinely confused on what happened to me.

I hate it but also love it before 3 days ago I only Solo Q to D every szn since szn one and I've hit it but szn 1. I started to play with 2 dudes I meet 3 days ago new the sweaty lobbies even if I lose its so fun facing the comp. I'm back on plat I think I'll finish the szn in D again. But I was at 26k and dropping 13-4kd 4k support M and D both 3k plus support 7 plus kills and this constantly happens we go positive are usually mvp but lose 50% of the time. It's fun I guess solo Q so many things could have gone better that's outside of my control but with a team even games we play perfect to our knowledge and we lose its not the same I can lose and keep playing for a long time.

So I’ve known about the finals for awhile but never actually gave it a fair chance to try and learn the character classes, weapons, gadgets, objectives, map spots, etc. Now that I finally played it for a few hours today I have had the most fun I’ve had playing an fps for a long time and want to keep going. I know not every day is gonna be full of good games and fun lobbies but the overall mechanics and feel of the game I really do enjoy and am looking forward to growing and progressing. When ever I play team death match or quick cash. Anyone who uses the BFR titan on heavy or medium other than on light is amazing. The fact you are using a high risk and high reward weapon compared to the basic aim and spray weapons. You are using a weapon that you need to be really accurate with.

Its amazing how some of yall use that weapon

I’ve put exactly 905 hours into THE FINALS (playing on controller since Season 3), but lately, I feel like I'm hitting a complete brick wall with my mechanics.

Some matches my aim feels crisp and on point, but in other games, I can barely secure a single kill and look like a completely new player. I’ve tried tweaking my response curves, deadzones, and sensitivities to fix it, but changing settings hasn't solved the issue.

What’s really getting to me is seeing players with 100 hours—or friends who switched to M&K just a couple of weeks ago—matching or beating my tracking ability pretty easily.

I get that it's a minor difference between the promotional art and the in-game asset, but I worry that it sets a bad precedent. Personally, I prefer the version in the promo art, but I don't hate the one in-game. I'm just perplexed as to why such a simple difference isn't consistent. Last season gave us open and closed variations of the armet helmet from the last page, and I don't see why that couldn't also happen here with two versions of the headpiece with and without the coif.

It's not the only example this season either. The damaged "terminator" style face from the battlepass is shown in the image with a hairstyle that straight up does not exist. Again, fairly minor, not egregiously false advertising, but I worry that stuff like this will become more prevalent going forward.

I can see stuff like this giving new players weird vibes, because why draw me in with this cool-looking character only for me to find I can't actually make my character look like that? I've been playing since season 2 and as far as I'm aware, this is the first time they've done something like this.

Would be better than the current invis light stuff. Wouldnt be able to shoot while invulnerable. Would allow for gateway plays. Would allow planned survivability. Limited amount of uses that recharge like dash charges or maybe invis recharging.

Would have an animation that shows when they’re invulnerable, and would take a second for them to pull their gun back out once invulnerability time is up.

And it’s ranked?? Do people just not care after the first few minutes don’t go well or do they simply not know that there‘s a RP penalty for leaving? It’s just so annoying 🫩

Somehow this was one of those interactions that made me laugh playing the finals.

I've said it before. But Terry could get some love by just doing his job. Lol You know how if you shoot at a turret it can turn 360° to defend itself. Why not do that with the user as well? Essentially if you place a turret looking any direction and another player shoots wmyiu who is within Terry's line of sight. He aggros the same way he would if he was shot at. He's not a GUARDIAN! LOL. Also just make it so you can place him farther than at your feet a few meters. Like you can with a zipline (not the same distance as a zipline, just the mechanic)

The finals is a first person shooter and should be more optimised for lower end rigs. I've played the finals since the first season,and I've played it on many PCs ,and what I've noticed is that u need a really above average PC to hit good fps on finals, right now I'm using a rtx 3060 with my i7 11700f,since I'm using a 165hz monitor I want to hit these 165fps ,and in order to do that I turn on FSR frame gen and DLSS on balanced. So recently I went on a vacation,and I couldn't take my main pc with me so I took my secondary pc,it got an rtx 2060 and a ryzen 5 3400g,such a config is still "okay" in 2026. And so when I installed the finals,I was shocked by the poor performance,I also played on low settings and frame gen and DLSS upscaling,and still couldn't hit even a 100fps. I'm not seeking for any advice ,just want to share my experience with you guys
