Just hit 4,000 hours on Steam. I have about 2.7K hours in-game. Finally starting to feel like I get the game, but still looking for tips for new users.

Scotty calls the player ''contestant 79'' and commentates everything live. Plus, he even mentions that the player needs to steal the cashout AND get another cashbox in order to win. It kind of feels like a game design line rather than a jeneric commercial video because it guides you crucially. I may be exaggarating every little detail but wanted to share anyway for those who haven't seen. It could also just be a classic Finals video.

The Terminator face (and possibly body) is already in the Helion Eclipse outfit.

So I’ve known about the finals for awhile but never actually gave it a fair chance to try and learn the character classes, weapons, gadgets, objectives, map spots, etc. Now that I finally played it for a few hours today I have had the most fun I’ve had playing an fps for a long time and want to keep going. I know not every day is gonna be full of good games and fun lobbies but the overall mechanics and feel of the game I really do enjoy and am looking forward to growing and progressing. I've said it before. But Terry could get some love by just doing his job. Lol You know how if you shoot at a turret it can turn 360° to defend itself. Why not do that with the user as well? Essentially if you place a turret looking any direction and another player shoots wmyiu who is within Terry's line of sight. He aggros the same way he would if he was shot at. He's not a GUARDIAN! LOL. Also just make it so you can place him farther than at your feet a few meters. Like you can with a zipline (not the same distance as a zipline, just the mechanic)

We even have the mini knife already, it’s right there.

I get that it's a minor difference between the promotional art and the in-game asset, but I worry that it sets a bad precedent. Personally, I prefer the version in the promo art, but I don't hate the one in-game. I'm just perplexed as to why such a simple difference isn't consistent. Last season gave us open and closed variations of the armet helmet from the last page, and I don't see why that couldn't also happen here with two versions of the headpiece with and without the coif.

It's not the only example this season either. The damaged "terminator" style face from the battlepass is shown in the image with a hairstyle that straight up does not exist. Again, fairly minor, not egregiously false advertising, but I worry that stuff like this will become more prevalent going forward.

I can see stuff like this giving new players weird vibes, because why draw me in with this cool-looking character only for me to find I can't actually make my character look like that? I've been playing since season 2 and as far as I'm aware, this is the first time they've done something like this.

The finals is literally the best game i have ever played.

Now, for the past 2.5 months, I've only been playing the finals. I've deleted every other game

I turn on my pc and double-click the finals, and enjoy

It's underrated sometimes I wish it stays underrated, not because i dont want the Studio to flourish and rise, but because I'm afraid that if it gets more popular, more hackers and people would just ruin it. Just like what happened to warzone. I know it's selfish but it's what i think of sometimes.

Used Data Reshaper to get enough barrels for the kill.

Every time this map is selected in Point Break half the players straight up leave the game. Its not performing well at all in PB and its really time for this map to be set aside.

I dont even think you can fix this map as its just a flat field with a few houses.

I love the finals and every single crazy costume they have released so far but one thing that annoys me is the numbers on the costumes. I had a minor emotional connection with the numbers before they were set differently for each player. Now that they can be customized I lost my interest in them and I think they make some of the costumes look way worse.

Embark, Please add an option to the section where we change numbers to make them invisible. Many costumes I am looking forward to buy will look much much better without them.

I think I might have upset him earlier.

The new S11 Season Trailer is now two weeks old and has +600.000k views.
Mind you, this is a trailer that just dropped with no big marketing arround it.
Since release people are affraid of the game not doing well. And if you only look at the Steam numbers, you cloud kinda make this point, altough for what the game costed to make, having constant 10-20k players would be totaly fine. But the view numbers on this trailer do tell us a different story here. People are clearly intersted in this game. And if we would have the Console numbers I think the games health would be a TOTALY different conversation. Did you ever ask yourself, why Embark brought the Game to older Consoles like PS4 and Xbox Fish (I just cant follow their counts) Someone had to say: "I think this is a good Idea, I think we will make a return on investment", and someone at Nexon had to greenlight that, by thinking the same. You dont do that, when you dont think there is no players/money behind. The Finals is a high visual (kinda) UE5 game, its not just a easy port. You need to downscale core components of the Engine. They had to turn many things down. This is time and hard work. Sadly you can feel it on PC too these days. The game is as "ugly" as it ever was. Like light comming inside from rooms is not fast enough if you look too fast arround and they light up a second later. But thats a different conversation.
