Just finished putting it all together, but initial impressions are that it’s super comfortable and the rig itself is very lightweight. Definitely sacrifice a few molle columns for the split, but it’s worth it to me.

I tried to get a look of the front plate bag but he had too many pouches or his rifle was in the way so I couldn’t see it properly

Was gonna buy some pads myself for my ach but got issued the new helmet and apparently these pads so yeah thats pretty cool

Front:

-1 Israeli bandage pouch

-1 radio pouch

-1 pair of pistol mag pouch

-1 pistol holster pouch

-2 ak double stack pouches (has sewn on compartment for 2 uzi mags each pouch)

-2 ar15 double stack mag pouches

-2 (m1 carbine?) Double stack mag pouches

-Knife/tools frog on right hip

-2 flushed inner compartments for admin stuffs

Back:

-1 very big pouch for explosive charge

-1 long pouch for detonator

-4 medium size gp pouches (probably specialty gears for explosive but i dont know much about that)

-2 extra pistol mag pouches

This thing is over the top and i love it, definitely overkill for a hunting/fishing vest

i need to do a new one since i’ve slimmed down my belt (and got a new, better one) but here’s my sim-slop post for the next week until i do another kitspread in my garage 🤙

Frag, smoke, and flashbang grenade pouches would normally also be filled, but I don’t have any grenades available at the moment.

He probably got off work, banged two chicks, engaged in some fun and unbelievable shenanigans and was back at work the next morning like nothing happened.

I found this set at a military sale in my country; it was pretty cheap, so I bought it. I don't know if there's anything special about it.

Bored at work, so time to post on Reddit. Here’s how my kits changed over the 5 years I’ve been seriously into using it.

Pics in order

1: First iteration didn’t know what I was doing and made a few terrible purchases, including the CVC helmet

2: Second iteration, finally got a decent helmet and chest rig, probably my first good purchases

3: Third iteration, gave up on the belt when it fell off while shooting, finally getting an idea of what I’m doing. Also converted the ACH into a high cut

4/5: How my kit was setup on my deployment, I’d say it was the most I’ve used it overall and really started to pick up on how to set my stuff up as I go

6-8: How it is now, not much changed from my deployment except for the gentex helmet I traded for the ACH high cut

So in the battle of finding a good MOLLE Buttpack, I've narrowed it down between the SOE Buttpack and another one from Small Arms Combatives LLC. The SOE one is larger, a little bit larger than the USGI Three Day Field Pack in M81 Woodland, but I've seen a couple of threads from two years ago regarding people not getting their orders for years (Yikes), as well as other factors.

As it stands now, has anyone recently gotten gear from SOE, and if so, is the quality up to snuff or should I give it a pass

Finally got my holster in the mail and I'm confident enough to say the belt is "done". Still waiting on a belt from Defense Mechanisms and then I'll also add a small GP pouch. (List in comments)

These seem to be the big 3, which ones are superior? I have a legit MC combat top I got from a mutual friend that’s in service for cheap was supposed to get a pair of pants but that fell through, don’t have another connection and can’t afford the real deals right now with just having graduating from school, so which are the best reps. Was thinking of getting the army advanced but I want some stretch in there. Also wanting to get a woodland set.
