Hi there I love arcades but I don’t know many in Swansea only the ones in tenpin and the one at the marina but they are tiny, does anyone know of any decent arcades in or around Swansea?

I was at Swansea Bus Station today with my friend’s family, seeing someone off, and had a pretty unpleasant experience.

A couple of teenage boys who were hanging around started making racist comments towards us. I confronted them, but there wasn’t much I could do because I was with my friend’s family and didn’t want the situation to escalate as it was their first time visiting UK.

A little while later, the same lads started verbally abusing one of the cleaning staff because she wouldn’t let them use the toilets, which were closed. She was literally just doing her job.

It genuinely made me wonder, what’s with these groups of kids hanging around the bus station? Is this a regular thing? It seems like they just spend their time intimidating people and causing trouble. Fair play to the cleaning lady for staying calm, but it was frustrating to see. Has anyone else experienced this around the bus station recently?

Hi all, I am moving to Swansea from Cardiff for work and my long distance partner will be visiting every month. We like to have a restaurant date night each time we see each other - somewhere that balances amazing food and romantic atmosphere. Ideally not too expensive as we are graduates with not a lot of money to burn (mostly willing to spend where the food is amazing) I wanted to know if anyone had good options to suggest as I'm seeing lots of mixed reviews on a few I was eyeing like Bistrot Pierre (I'm french and the quality sounded lacking) etc.

I went in to the Kardomah in Swansea yesterday and was devastated to discover Emma was leaving that day!!!! I have known her forever. She has been in there for 30 years and has left for a better job with more pay. So selfish!! To be fair when she told me she was on minimum wage in the Kardomah after 30 years I do not blame her for leaving. Is that even legal? Certainly not moral. I won't be going back now. Without Emma that place is just the most expensive greasy spoon in Swansea. Bye Emma. Miss you already and good luck with your new job. I know you will be appreciated by the management and loved by the customers.xxxx
