Hello,this is my first pc so i low-key don't know anything about them at all,so I saw this PC and I will write the specs down and the price though I did ask for a benchmark to make sure it wouldn't break (thanks to that old YouTube video I saw that recommend to use one),so these are the specs

Mostly I want to enjoy games since I sold my console and games and that stuff and I have a lot of money from it,and it's for 1367,32€ or 1560,18$

It's a bit expensive but I do think it will be worth it and for the future will be very useful still,thanks and please do let me know,it also has cool RGB lights

I've been looking for a pc that is able to handle sfm (and blender) and godot but ngl idk the first thing about pcs like that. I'm hoping to also to play Fortnite on it well enough. I'm not really looking for anything crazy just something that handle those decently. My budget is around $700-$1200 but am willing to try for $1400 if it's worth it. I'm also don't really care about anything flashy on the outside, as long as I' able to esily change stuff out, it's fine

like the title says, i want to surprise my boyfriend with a gaming pc, we’re moving in together soon, he has a newer Xbox as the moment but doesnt come from the best living situation and it’s infested with bugs, we’ve talked about it and he agreed to leave his xbox at his parents house to prevent us from having them but gaming is such an important thing for him and i feel awful having to strip that away.

however i’m not very tech savvy so i don’t really know where to start, i have a budget of $1500, what should i get him? he hasn’t mentioned wanting in anything crazy extravagant or fancy but just something nice to play his games on, whats a good gaming pc for fairly inexpensive?

Hi there! I got 750$ from my high school graduation. My current pc is about 6 years old, and worked fine until my sister decided I'm no longer allowed to have a pc and she broke it. The responsibility was put on me to buy myself a new one if I'm desperate enough. I know nothing about pcs and all my previous ones have been gifted to me. I used my pc for drawing on Fire Alpaca SE, and playing mainly Roblox, TS4, The Stanley Parable and Among Us, with occasional Minecraft, Fortnite, and Genshin Impact. Otherwise, I just watch YouTube or listen to Spotify. I also use my DVD drive frequently... I'll be moving into a college dorm in September. I already have low space, but the dorm will limit it more. Tower is about 5 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and about 15 inches long so if possible, one smaller would be nice. Graphics card says GTX 1060TI 4GB 128BIT DDR5 which is apparently outdated and no longer receiving updates, motherboard is Asus and says Prime B46OM-A R2.0 and according to what I was told, I have a 16GB DDR4 stick of ram in the motherboard with a 32GB Samsung SSD or something currently. I don't really know. None of this makes sense to me. I'm just a guy who likes his pc and figured someone might ask about my current pc.

I'm trying to get my first PC And I don't know much about PCs and I don't want to get scammed by someone I think is being nice and gives me a pc with malware or something. I've never really had anything more than a laptop before and even then I couldn't play games on it so id love to see what PCs are like but I don't make that much to spend on a pc like maybe 300$ is my spending money and I don't know if that would be able to get a prebuilt one because I don't know what I'm doing.if anyone has any ideas or anything that would help play let me know if greatly appreciated it

Meaning I don’t know which pc to buy. With the new unreal engine update coming here pretty soon I am looking for a pc that performs well and can handle the new update. i have a $500 pc that i plan to sell soon and im saving up for a good pc that can at least have games at 200 fps and be able to record and stream while maintaining good fps above at least 100 (i live in the united states)/kansas city and the games i’ll be playing are like marvel rivals, cyber punk, fortnite, spiderman games and hopefully ps5 games like god of war and stuff those type of games

I’m looking for the best prebuilt gaming PC with a budget of 1500–1600 CHF.
I mainly play FPS games, especially Valorant, so my main priority is getting the highest possible FPS for competitive gaming. I also want the PC to perform well in other modern games.

My current PC has served me well for the past 12 years (4790k and a 6600) but its finally time to get a new one.

I mainly play games like Day Z, The Isle, Palworld and simple arcade-ish multiplayer games (like Peak, Mechachameleon, Super Battle Golf). I dont play big titles like COD, Battlefield, Cyberpunk etc. I just run the game, discord and an open browser in the background.

Budget isn't really much of a concern. Looking to be able to run these games at high/max graphics at atleast 1080p (preferably 1440+) with a solid frame rate of 60fps or higher.

Haven't kept up with the times so im at a loss for what I need and I dont wish to pay for something beyond that. My current monitor is the MSI curved from Costco (2560x1440, 170Hz Refresh Rate, Adaptive sync).

I'm looking to buy a pc. I want it to be an upgradable gaming pc I have a gaming laptop now that's a few years old and it's starting to not be able to run games like crusader kings 3 and Victoria 3 smoothly anymore and it was never really able to run the witcher 3 or cyberpunk that well. The main games I'll be playing are paradox games gta6 and sports games. I'd like to spend between 800 and 1000 and I could go up to 1100 or 1200 if it was a really good value. I don't care if the games are on max settings but I want to be able to play like tes 6 when it comes out. I'm open to building a PC if you get a lot better value but from what I've seen apparently the pre built are not so overpriced anymore.

I am new to pcs, and have no idea about anything, i would to be able to have enough store to play steam games amoung other things. what do you guys recomend?

I’m finally making the switch from Xbox to PC but after doing only some research it’s pretty hard to say what’s good and what’s not. I’m not asking for to much in my PC but also I do plan on playing games releasing in the later years so I probably will need a decent-good pc. Here’s the requirements for me:

1. My budget is anywhere from $1-$2500 not looking to spend too much money on a pre-built especially when I can always upgrade it later if I have to.

2. I don’t plan on playing any high requirement games, the most demanding game I can think of that I play is Cyberpunk 2077 and even then it wouldn’t kill me to not play on the most demanding graphics especially after coming off of Xbox Series X which ran the standard graphics a little harsh sometimes. So for most games I play I won’t run that demanding of graphics typically.

At the time I’m typing this I had thought I was gonna have more requirements but really this is my bare minimum just 2 major points and that’s it. So I’m not saying that $2500 is the max I’ll go but if a PC fits the description of what I want in between those price ranges, I’d probably go with that. Especially since I eventually want to rebuy all my games on Xbox to Steam.

Hello, I am looking to get my first gaming PC. I've been using GeForce Now on an old laptop for about a year while saving up to buy. Prior to this, I've been on an Xbox one for a decade. I did look briefly into building a PC but I have 0 idea what most specs mean and it seemed like a rabbit hole researching things. I think a prebuilt would be a good place to start and in the future I'd be more confident in building a PC.

I am looking for a prebuilt in the $1200-1600 range that could run Cities Skyline 2 well as that is what I play most. I also play a lot of Borderlands, Assassin's Creed and planning to get GTA 6. I already have a MSI G274QPF gaming monitor.

I live close to a Microcenter and a Costco.

Hey guys I know almost nothing about computers, but I just received a 1300 dollar donation to find a new set up I am new to streaming and want the best pc I can have within this budget ideally something that can stream on multiple platforms via OBS and handle all me editing needs as well as some gaming any recommendations ???

I am, for the most part, a complete rookie when it comes to PC building. That said, I have been spending hours reading up on parts and specs to have a basic understanding of what I am looking at as I have decided to finally graduate from my 14 year-old laptop to a proper desktop build. I was looking around on online stores for a RX 9070XT when I found a fully-built PC for sale featuring one. The seller claims he built it for himself and used it for about 3 months. The parts are as follows:

He has the PC on sale as fully built for 4500 Azn (roughly $2646), but he also has the parts posted for sale on the website separately, so if I don't want the whole thing I could just purchase specific parts. I know the CPU and GPU are good and from a review I saw by Hardware Unboxed the MOBO seems good as well. The only parts I am not really well-informed about are the PSU, AIO, SSDs and the case. Are those parts in particular any good? Is the whole package worth the listed price or should pick and choose specific parts and drop the rest?

I asked for a benchmark test but he says he's unable to provide one as he sold his monitor already. I suggested going to a PC shop/workshop to get it tested (I had GPU-Z and Furmark in mind) and he says we can do that (however he lives in a different city 4.5 hours away so I'd have to take a trip to get the PC tested there).

Here's what I need tips with: Are GPU-Z and Furmark tests sufficient or should I request something else to be tested? What kinda questions should I be asking about the build/parts? What should I pay attention to when checking out the parts physically?

Appreciate any info and help in advance.
