Tech Help Shifting problems with the SRAM Axs app or is it normal?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
hey guys, recently I switched to a new waxed chain and a new wheelset and my chain was rattling a bit afterwards. I wanted to micro-adjust my drivetrain using the SRAM AXS app, but for some reason, it seems to be applying the 0.25mm adjustments to all gears simultaneously… Has it always been like that or is my shifting system just buggy?
For better understanding, I made a little video. I was in gear 12 and adjusted from 17 to 16 and the app applied this config to all gears.
Oh before I forget… I'm on a 2022 S-Works Crux with Sram red etap groupset.. the old one from 2019.

Which Bike? Being torn between these two
I’m to buy a second hand Roubaix and I have 2 options:
1. 2022 Comp with upgraded S-works CF bars and Sram Rival eTap AXS group set in size 58.
2. 2023 Sport with 105 mechanical group set in size 56.
Both sizes kinda fit me (I am 5’11), but 56 is recommended by the size guide.
I test rode 58 and it would probably require to shorten the stock stem. The price difference is insignificant with sport option being $200 less.
What would you recommend between these two options?

Which Bike? Will a Crux 5 with 55 mm tires be compliant enough, or do I need suspension?
My current "gravel" bike is a Trek Domane with 40 mm gravel tires, which is the maximum size the frame can handle (officially 38 mm, but 40 fits fine). The bike is fast and comfortable on "champagne gravel" but rocky, potholed, washboard forestry roads overwhelm that bike and my forearms! So I'm considering buying a Crux 5 and mounting 55 mm tires on it to handle the rough stuff better. My question is whether I'm likely to be satisfied with that solution, or am I still going to get beat up by rocky washboard roads, even with 55 mm tires? Would I be better off getting something with true suspension, like the Diverge? I'm not a bikepacker -- my focus is going fast, but I'm not a racer either, so I'm willing to give up a bit of speed to avoid a punishing ride.

So I received a $900 founders credit and everything I put in cart says it can't be used...Anyone else?
Suggestions?
EDIT TO HELP: You must have items in your cart pre-tax over your credit to trigger. Great customer service!

Which Bike? Is this a good bike?
I’m looking at buying my first road bike and found this Specialized Roubaix on Facebook Marketplace for $900.
I’m around 5’8” with a 32” inseam, so I’m also wondering if 54cm is the right size or if I should be looking for something different.
The seller’s description:
Specialized Roubaix, 54cm
Original owner
Bought from Bike Barn
Shimano 105 groupset with newer 105 brake calipers
FSA 172.5mm cranks
Newer chain and bar tape
New tires and tubes
Specialized Power saddle (143mm)
Shorter, higher-rise stem
Cane Creek headset bearings replaced last summer
Cables and housing replaced two years ago
Never crashed and well maintained
Comes with flat pedals for a test ride
I don’t know what year the bike is. My long-term goal is to get into triathlons, but I’m a complete beginner and probably won’t be racing for a few years. I’m mainly looking for a reliable road bike that I can train on for a long time.
A few questions:
Does $900 seem like a fair price?
Does anything in the description raise any red flags?
Does the bike appear to be in good condition based on what’s listed?
Is a 54cm likely the right size for someone who’s 5’8” with a 32” inseam?
Would a Roubaix be a good bike for training and eventually doing triathlons, or would I be better off looking for something else?

Price Check New S-Works Tarmac SL8
Hey, I got an offer from a Specialized dealer (Germany) for a new 2025 S-Works Tarmac SL8 for €9,400. It’s equipped with the “old” SRAM Red.
Is this offer worth it, or not really?

Bike Photos Who’s ready to take a KOM?
Picked up a Sirrus X 5.0 for a great deal on Incycle as a sidekick to my road bike. It’s pretty weird going back to a flat handlebar after years of riding exclusively drop bars, but I love how the bike rides. Very compliant, does great on mixed trails with or without the Burley. Looking forward to exploring some gravel trails that have previously been inaccessible due to the road bike limitations.
The Satin Red Tint color looks awesome in person, by the way!

Story Time The “win fin”
Ever since I saw the SL9, there was something about the lines that I didn’t like. First I thought it was the line from the top tube into the head tube, but then I saw the SL8 and SL9 next to each other and realized they’re almost the same here.
Then I asked AI to remove the win fin and voila! Much better haha

NBD NBD: Crux Expert
I thought I'd write a mini review of the Crux Expert. The Crux 5 is quite hard to find in bigger sizes in the UK right now; I got lucky! The ride is brilliant, and it feels quick and stable on gravel tracks. The Roval Terra C III wheelset feels solid, but the 18T ratchet doesn’t feel especially quick to get going. I've got a 54T upgrade kit on order. I was unsure about the brown, but in person it is very striking. There are subtle chevrons in the brown paint which flow into the silver on the top tube (I have tried to capture this in the photo). The SRAM Force Explore groupset is flawless, and I love the thumb buttons on the hoods for shifting. Nice upgrade over older Force groupsets. I have swapped the Power saddle for my trusty Romin, and I did swap the brake rotors for Paceline X, just because I had new ones in the garage. The cockpit is a 2-piece, which some people will like. I will eventually get the Roval Terra Cockpit and lower the stem to my normal height.
In short, it's a fantastic bike, quick on gravel and quick on the road, especially if you have a second wheelset. Would highly recommend 👍
This is a size 61. I'm 193cm tall.

Bike Photos (My) Dream Bike Build
Coming from Enduro and DH racing I switched categories last year and started road cycling. After a couple of races on the my Canyon Endurace, I decided it is time to build my dream bike now!
- Tarmac SL8 in size 56
- Force/Red Mix (Red crankset, casette)
- DT240/Duke Baccara RX wheels in 56mm (1.380g)
- Conti GP500STR 32mm, Tubeless
- Roval Rapide cockpit, 90mm / 380mm (very long legs compared to short torso, stack is a little too high with all the spacers atm, will reduce step by step)
- 6.9kgs with everything on the pictures.
Build cost me 7.500eur.
Rides like a dream. Enabled PRs on many uphill segments, top10 in Sprints and some KOMs in downhill sections. Love the handling so much.
Couldn't be happier after 500km, will get a professional fit in 2 weeks.

Fitting Help Newer Rider, new Allez Comp. Extreme Discomfort. Any tips?
I recently purchased the Allez Comp as my second bike after my 2018 Diverge was stolen a few years ago. I was super excited to pick it up from the shop. I did the other day, rode it home about 11 miles. My excitement turned into a bit of dejection. It’s been 3 days and I still feel crazy soreness on the ole backside. Like.. some pain/soreness is to be expected I assume after going a couple years without riding, but this doesn’t feel normal. My ass freaking hurts. There. I said it.
I never had a problem with the diverge. No discomfort. I’m trying to figure out the best way to address this with my new bike. At first, I just figured I need a better saddle with more padding. But that doesn’t make sense because it’s more or less the same saddle the diverge had and I was fine.
Could it just be me? Is the Allez just not the right bike for me? This is unfamiliar territory so I appreciate any feedback. Thanks guys

Miscellaneous Did I get a good deal?
Picked up the bike for $200 on marketplace. I replaced the bar tape and the chain and made sure everything was tight. Anything else I should do before I really start to ride it?

Price Check $1200 for ‘23 Cruz Pro? (No wheelset)
Just getting a gut check, but I’m pretty confident that I will purchase it if it doesn’t have any frame damage. 2023 crux pro with Sram force D1 xplr. Wheelset and cassette not included. This is a great deal, right? Seller said he works at specialized so I assume he’s just passing on the good deal he got on it.
I picked up some pretty new Roval C38s a few weeks ago that some guy was selling for $350 and was thinking to put them on this bike but was wondering if it would be a bad idea given the narrower internal rim width?
Price is in USD.
