Hi everyone,
I may be moving to the Atlanta area for a job near Windy Ridge/Powers Ferry, and I’m looking for apartment recommendations with some context below:
Budget: Ideally, I’d like to stay around $2,000 per month, but I can go somewhat higher if the apartment is genuinely worth it.
- I’ll likely go to the office around 3 days per week so Ubering is okay though I'm used to taking public transit.
- I won’t have a car - I have personal reasons to avoid this unfortunately.
- A 30–40 minute commute is completely fine if the apartment is significantly nicer or offers better value.
- I’m open to using CobbLinc (route 50), Uber, or a combination of both.
- I’m looking for a one-bedroom and will not have roommates.
- Safety, quietness and reliable management are important.
- I’d prefer a modern or aesthetically appealing apartment with good natural light, in-unit laundry and a decent gym but gym can be optional.
- Nightlife and social amenities are not important to me at all.
- Grocery walkability is not essential because I’m fine using grocery delivery but would be good to have.
So far, I’ve been looking at places such as:
- Marketplace Village
- Annett
- Spectator Apartments
- 400 Belmont
- Cortland on Cumberland
- Avana Cumberland
- SYNC at Jonquil
- MAA West Village
If you live in any of the above or have any inputs on apartments (whether positive or negative) I'd appreciate it.
Are there any other apartment communities in Smyrna, Cumberland, Marietta or nearby areas that I should take a look at?
I’m hoping to shortlist options and start looking at properties within the next two weeks in person.
