So I’m holding my coffee, right? And the lid has that little sippy hole. My cat jumps on the table, I barely tilt it, and coffee erupts out like Old Faithful. The lid didn't save me. It betrayed me. What is the deal with coffee lids? They’re designed by people who have clearly never walked while drinking. You take a sip, it dribbles down your chin, and suddenly you’re George Costanza at a job interview with a coffee stain on your new suede jacket. The barista hands you the cup and says “Be careful, it’s hot.” Yeah, be careful that the flimsy plastic flap doesn’t launch a scalding hot stream directly into your eye. The lid is a suggestion, not a seal. It’s the Kramer of beverage accessories—comes in sideways, disrupts everything, leaves a mess, and somehow you can’t function without it. I just cleaned coffee off my keyboard for the third time today. Yada yada yada, I now drink directly from the mug like a savage. Serenity now.

I know with older shows when they transfer to widescreen sometimes it exposes things that weren't meant to be seen, à la the Mad Men vomit scene. Is this supposed to be a prop security camera or is it an exposed piece of stage equipment?

Anyone know if George is getting royalties?

Dumb nitpick, but I still wanted to bring it up. If Seinfeld and Mad About You canonically occur in the same universe, then how does Susan tape it to make George watch it instead of seeing a movie with Jerry in the one episode. No it doesn’t matter, but it occurred to me that there may have been a rationalization somewhere sometime.

TMDB mentioned it as one of the specials. Search says its a 12 minutes documentary. But i have never seen this. Anybody know which it is.

Maybe she didn’t want to try it because Jerry “double dip” the fork into the pie? If not then….im not sure why…
