Should I replace this

Fun fun fun.

Am I the only tech using R452a as an R404a drop in? Especially on low temp walk in freezers. I am Not using R448 in any low temp installs/retrofits. R448 only on medium temp applications. I asked the TRENTON trainer and the guys at United Refrigeration, and they said “we don’t use R452a.” No explanation. It was like I asked the Pepsi sales guy where I could buy a Coke? Even most of the Reddit posts asking about R448 for R404 replacement and nobody mentions R452A.

I get a LO alarm for this controller. It was a freezer initially but now I changed temperature to be a cooler. It’s set at 32 degrees. It somehow shows LO alarm instead of HI which technically it should since it was a freezer. How to reset and correct to right alarm temp.

What cleaner to you guys use on Hoshizaki’s?

With the Stainless Evap’s do you still use nickel safe cleaner or do you used the Hoshizaki scale away at ~$150 a gallon?

Hello everyone, long time lurking. I have made the move from a residential company/light commercial mostly rtu to a postion maintaining and prevention maintenance for a facility.

Most of my equipment now is chillers and cooling towers. Been forever since I learn these in school most of my old schooling are missing do to moving and looking for help on refreshing myself and proceeding.

Any suggestions advice and help would be great at where to look.
