I posted this info in r/privacy last week, but probably should have posted it here first and then crossposted it over there.

One Redditor I known and chatted for a while has been ban*ed permanentlyđ
Bc of this I did many research and what I always saw is the 'ban evasion' thing.
But I am very curious,
So does it mean that once one of your account has been flagged permanently,
then you would never has a chance to register a new account , use Reddit again and make post,DM etc??
Would there be a "cooling period" that after a certain period of time you are allowed to make a new account and not trigger the ban evasion?
Thanks so much for answering.

Hello! When trying to send a private message to someone I've never talked to before on reddit, I think there was an automated message from reddit about sending a chat invite or something like that. I just sent a regular message. Will the person I wanted to talk to only see an invitation or part of the message or the entire message I sent? Thanks!

Hi folks! Just got let out of shadowban jail, and was advised by u/Wombat_7379 to make a post in here to request a moderator reach out to the kind admin who's willing to assist in getting posts restored. I'm not entirely sure how much of my profile is gone. Comments still show without any notice of if they're there or not, but I do see that all my posts (both SFW and NSFW) have been removed by Reddit's filters. I rarely, if ever, posted NSFW stuff, so if those don't get restored, it's fine, but if the kind mod could reach out to the kind admin in question, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I did some post recently in some subs, and iâm always told that chats are off. However, each time i correct them so that people can reach out, until i post again where it goes back to ÂŤÂ nobody  automatically⌠does anyone know why?

Iâm trying to understand how Redditâs automated filtering works for newer accounts.
Is there a point where accounts are less likely to be automatically filtered simply because theyâve established a history of normal activity? If so, is that based on account age, successful posts, moderator approvals, or some combination of factors?
Iâm not looking for ways to bypass the filters! I just want to understand how the system determines when an account has built enough trust so I can post more :)

Thereâs a user that I blocked over a month ago, and somehow they were able to comment on one of my posts??? I thought that when you blocked someone, they were unable to see your posts/comments/general interactions. Am I misunderstanding the point of blocking someone on this app? And it does say âblocked userâ by their name, so I know for a fact that I did block them.
Help please!

Hi everyone,
I'm confused about how Reddit's search works.
When I search for a specific username within a subreddit, sometimes I only get one result, but the post isn't even by that exact username, and I can't find any comments from the user I searchedfor.
Why does this happen? Is it just how Reddit'ssearch algorithm works, or is there another explanation? Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks in advance!

I had on account of 3 years and it suddenly got deleted. I wrote an email Jun 15 and still didn't get a response. Apparently, I registered one more, older, account to the same e-mail. I started using that one, but it got deleted as well. I read that only you can delete your own account but I know I didn't. Why does that happen and is there a way to prevent it? I'm tired of making new accounts.

I have seen a lot of top 1% comments but never understood how it worked. Is there a leaderboard for me to check if my comment or post has made it to the top 1% or can I only tell if I get the little top 1% badge?

Hi all, I'm trying to start a subreddit for my company. However, a subreddit has already claimed our brand name, but it's unaffiliated and posts unrelated content. It has only a few posts and minimal activity over the years. What steps can I take to secure our brand name as a subreddit? I have already reached out to the moderator to request a transfer of ownership.

How the f*** do I change my feed. I am a 32 year old accountant. I joined reddit for memes and may be a few accounting or finance related posts.
But all I am getting are gen z, marriage, indian, LGBT, etc recommendations.
Think of me as Hank Hill's but for accounting and finance. How do I change my feed. Have over a 100 blocked communities at this point, Tried see less of this, custom my feed and even added key words to see in my feed.
Is making a new account the only option left.
Any and all advice will be appreciated.

I have a big idea but i don't think so it's under the rules/requirements about the minecraft pvp comm. because it's about the real life of major pvpers like swight coldified, itzrealme, flowitives, and more, and although people have talked about it, i'm just thinking that reddit's filters will remove my post, just like they did to me reposting.

My PFP keeps being marked as NSFW. I turned off mature mode but it keeps switching back on. I change it PFP, I turn off mature mode and it switches back on. I don't know what's wrong. Can anyone help me please?

Hi everyone, r/spaceshuttle has been pretty much abandoned by its moderators (like, thereâs legitimately only one and they havenât said anything in the sub for the past four months), so Iâm trying to launch a request to become a mod for the sub. I know you have to send a modmail message to the current mods, but how should I word it?

Hello, Iâm really not sure if this is the appropriate place to get any sort of answer so I apologize if not. But I recently started using Reddit, and made a NSFW account after this one for content, abided by all the subreddit rules that I was posting in and the Reddit guidelines. But today all my posts suddenly got marked as removed by Reddit filters? Iâm kind of confused because I was posting and cross posting actual posts, nothing spammy, scammy, or advertising like. Iâm just confused because I sent the appeal in but I have heard most people never even receive replies for false bot filtering, and if they do it takes months. Is there any possibility anyone knows the best way to go about this? I really just hope to continue using the platform as normal. Can provide the username of the other account if requested. Thankyou!
