Awesome I need to say this

Kevin heart has been consuming copious amounts of Lyme resonance in an attempt to astral project himself into the hexagonal storm on Saturn. He has purchased plum island to raid the former animal disease center laboratory for its reserve of synthetic Lyme disease if he gets his hand on the stockpile his kundalini will fully awaken allowing his soul to leave his physical body. Once he reaches Saturn he will dives into the depths of the storm in order to return the Homerlan which allows him to use the lesser key of Solomon to its full potential. Once he arrives back on earth he will free jabal from his sigil prison and force him to preform the York rite ritual, increasing Kevin’s height by 0.4 inches. The extra gravity from his newly gained mass will cause Ton 618 the largest known black hole in the known universe to be pulled directly to earth. Before it reaches earth it will collide with the belt of the constellation Orion alerting the Mintakan starseed which will proceed to collapse the mass of the black hole to a digestible size. Jabal will trvael to Mintaka in order to barter for the consumable black hole ultimately sacrificing Martin sheen once obtained Kevin heart will consume this black hole allowing himself to obtain a heart of 8 feet which he will use to set the new world record for the 400 meter sprint he will then retreat to a cave at the summit of Mount Makalu to live out the rest of his 800 year lifespan.

You literally cannot post anything on the internet without at least getting one psycho comment

Upvotes

It doesn’t matter who you are or what you post, some crazy ass mf will post up in your comments telling you one of the following examples:

- Why are you so weirdly obsessed with (whatever you posted)

- Yeah, you’re a (defaming/demeaning adjective).

- You need therapy

And let it be the most psycho, far-gone, mentally ill bitchiest bitch trying to speak from a place of authority. And then of course the other bitchy bitches upvote the shit out of mega bitch’s comment because they are also manic psychopaths or miserable wretches.

And it’s like mf you are CRAZY 😂 I’m not lying when I say you can post “the sky is blue” and someone will come up in the comments like “engagement bait post. Nobody says that so plainly unless they wanna come off like an ass”

WHAT 😂 I just wanna see these people in real life. Internet trolls are one thing you can usually sniff them out (though sometimes they do get the better of you).

And it’s gonna happen in this post. Like wait until theres like 10 comments and at least one of those comments will be from the worst person in the world.

Yes, I'm privileged, and I'm not going to feel guilty for that fact.

I swear to god, every time I get into a discussion about my disabilities, there's a solid 33% chance that the other party will start going off about how privileged I am to have access to medicine and to have a wheelchair and whatnot, as if I should feel bad for having the resources I do.

I worked my ass off to afford this chair. I irreparably damaged my body to be able to live my life more comfortably in the future.

Am I privileged to have the ability to do that? Absolutely. But am I gonna feel bad for it? Fuck no.

Yes, there are people who have it worse than me. Yes, there are people who are "more disabled". But I cannot help those people. If I could snap my fingers and cure everyone of all their ailments, I would, but I can barely manage keeping myself alive and functional.

And of course, the people saying this shit are always fully physically able and could do a thousand times more than me, but they don't. Because to them it's not actually about helping the people in need, it's about endlessly self-flagellating to prove just how moral they are.

Don’t try to be a life coach if you can’t even pay your own rent.

I’ve got a coworker who has a girlfriend that has a “life coach” business. She charges $100 for a session and a has subscription for different tiers of coaching. This lady is over 40, has no degree whatsoever and calls him at work asking for money to pay rent and utilities for their apartment. He pays everything while she is on disability and trying to run her business remotely. I’ve never used a life coach myself but the picture in my head of a LC is someone who is financially successful and independent who can offer wisdom. To me, those are the bare minimum qualifications to be an LC. The audacity that someone broke AF is trying to coach someone else on navigating through life is crazy to me.

Moved continents to live with a cheater

I moved to the UK 2 months ago, and moved in with my bf of 2 years with our dog and cat. He had come here 5 months ahead of me due to his visa running out, and to set everything up for us (apartment, job hunting, etc.).

Turns out, he downloaded a dating app a week after landing and had a 4 month affair that lasted until two weeks before I got here. That means that while I was making one final visit to my mom who was terminal, he was sleeping with someone else while comforting me over the phone.

I’ve invested all my money into the move, the apartment, our life together. I’m now broke, I have no one else in this country, and no money. I know it’s dumb of me, and I’ve never been in a situation like this - I always told myself I’d never be at the mercy of someone else. But I gambled and decided it was worth the risk for a few months. Terrible bet to make.

Please don’t tell me I’m stupid, believe me I know. My heart and life is shattered.

I’m so alone here.

Loud cars.

You're an asshole. Nobody gives a flying fig about your loud ass exhaust or your loud sound system. I literally hope your exhaust blows up while you're driving. I'm sick of you assholes idling outside of apartment buildings or really anywhere where people are living. We get it. You're a narcissist who wants all of the attention and you don't know how else to get it. Like a bad child you don't care if it's good or bad attention, you just want attention. Grow up, losers. Turn the bass down. Nobody thinks you're cool.

I'm sick of you and your stupid sounding cars.

Edit: This also includes you assholes on motorcycles ESPECIALLY the morons with the radios blasting I mean you gotta be able to hear your music over your stupidly loud bike, right? RIGHT? Idiots.

The fact that I’ll never be as beautiful as some people makes me so sad

I don’t think I’m ugly, but I am far from perfect. Seeing all these beautiful women such as Ester Exposito all over the internet makes me feel disgusted of myself. It’s so unfair how I’ll never look like that.

I'm convinced that I'll die single

Upvotes

I really don't know what's up with the dating scene. I feel like I can't find normal people at all. Maybe that goes to say that I'm the abnormal one? I don't know.

The guy will either not be putting any effort into the outfit, or be negging , or do some other strange thing.

I came here to rant but now I just feel numb.

I genuinely hate feeling this way about someone I used to have so much respect for

I put so much effort into this person. I tried to understand them, I tried to change things about myself to make things work, and I tried to be someone they could feel comfortable around. But it feels like that effort was never really returned.

What bothers me is that they can talk about the ways I hurt them, and I understand that my actions can affect people, but I always apologized when I realized I did something wrong. I never had the intention to hurt them. Meanwhile, there were also things they said and did that hurt me, and those things often feel ignored or brushed aside.

I also hate feeling like I'm expected to take all the accountability while they don't look at their own actions. Everyone has flaws, but it's frustrating when someone refuses to acknowledge their part in a situation.

The recent situation especially bothered me because I genuinely didn't know what I was doing was an issue. If someone tells me something is making them uncomfortable, I want to listen and fix it, but the way it was brought up and handled really hurt me.

It's just disappointing. I never expected to feel this negatively about someone I once respected so much.

Just find a new job

The unemployment rate in the US is 4.3%, and in my state, Michigan, it's 5.1%. More specifically, the unemployment rate for residents in my county is 5.3%. The job market is hard. No one is hiring. I currently work a part-time job in marketing, and I also have 2 other part-time side hustles in sales that I do in my spare time when I'm not working my marketing job. Altogether, I essentially have 3 part-time jobs, and even so, it's very tough to get any actual work. None of my jobs are really giving me much work to do, and it's been tough. It isn't the fault of my employers; it's just how things are now.

What's my parents' advice? Quit your job and find a new full-time job. Gee thanks, I wish I would've thought of that before. You think I would be working 3 part-time jobs if I could get a full-time job? They just keep saying Try harder to find a full-time job, like it's that easy! They just see that I rarely ever work and just say that I'm lazy. Like, piss off! If I were lazy, would I be doing 3 jobs? They see that none of my jobs are giving me hours, and I'm stuck at home, and instead of encouraging me or offering me any sympathy, they just keep bringing me down and making me feel more terrible about myself than I already do.

I'd love to see them try to navigate the current job market right now. All the negativity and accusations of me being lazy just irritate me to my limits.

My coworker who’s much newer than me got offered a promotion for a position I’m better trained for because he’s talkative.

I’m so pissed off right now. I work at a factory and at the factory I work at there’s a lot of opportunity for advancement. I’ve worked here for 4 years, my coworker has worked here for a year and a half but he’s extremely talkative and makes conversation with everyone, even the supervisors and higher ups. I trained to be a backup for a higher paying position about 2 years ago, I’ve learned the job and have basically mastered it by now and I get to do it when others in that position call out but I only get paid for it when I do it which is kinda rare.

I’ve been waiting for a permanent position to open up for a while now so I can take it. Well about 3 months ago my coworker wanted to learn to be a backup too and usually they don’t have 2 backups for a position on the same line but he’s very charismatic and talkative so he basically gets whatever he wants. He trained when he could but he never mastered anything. He’s still pretty bad at it and he constantly needs help when he’s in that position by himself and he even said he doesn’t feel confident doing it by himself.

Someone is retiring from that position soon and I was so happy because I believed that I would be offered the position. Well, apparently the superintendent talked to my coworker and offered him the position instead. The position that I’m much better trained in, have been a backup for for 2 years and they just offer it to a guy who can’t even do it by himself without needing a ton of help?!

It makes no sense at all. The only thing I can think of is because he’s extremely talkative and charismatic and always talks to the superintendent (supervisors boss) and supervisors like they’re his best friends. I’m pretty shy so I don’t talk much at all but I’m not mean, I’m always really nice and I do my job good. I don’t understand why he got offered the position and not me. I’m so upset about it. I’ve been waiting for this position to open up for a long time because I can do it well and it’s a huge pay raise.

I hate long movies

Upvotes

Why all movies now must be 2h+ long. Going for new Nolan movie and it's close to 3h long.... Like, cannot you all make good movies that's be 1:45h? It may be me but time is limited and I find it disrespectful that they just seem to think we can just spend there half of the evening. Not to say anything about 30+ minutes of trailers...

People are too desensitized to car alarms and they lost their purpose.

Be honest, how often do you hear a car alarm and go “oh no a car got broken into!” Or “Oh no someone over there needs help!” You probably just think “Bro shut that thing off I know someone sat on their keys.”

I remember as a kid my mom always told me the panic button on her keys meant we could press it if we were being attacked, followed, robbed, or otherwise needed to draw attention to ourselves to deter a threat. Now it has its benefits yes, attackers would likely still run from car alarms to keep from causing a scene or being the center of one, and car alarms help to deter dangerous wildlife like bears. I just feel like we have so many false alarms that it doesn’t cause anyone to take action like I was told as a kid. I thought as a kid that if we touched the panic button the whole towns police force would come running to inspect, but no one gives a flying rats ass because memaw keeps sitting on her keys while she’s at the doctors office and we can’t tell the difference. I kinda wish we had different alarms that spoke instead of just made random sounds and could say what the situation was.

Anyway I type this from inside an airbnb and someone outside had their car alarm going off for over an hour before shutting it off, I was mostly asleep when I first heard it and it worked its way into my dream, so weird.

I am currently having a horrible group presentation experience this week. (Repost)

So one of these stories is about my presentation, which I had yesterday, and another is one I will have tomorrow. Both of these groups are for the whole semester.

So for the first presentation, we were told before we went home that we would have a presentation after our holiday break. My group decided we would work on it after the break. Truth be told, I totally forgot about it until someone brought it up, so I take the blame for that one, but my issue is that in a group of 5 people, somehow everyone forgot. It came to the week, and one group member reminded us, so we started working on it. We agreed that we would schedule an online meeting to discuss it.

This was the first red flag because I asked if we were still having the meeting. No one bothered to make a meeting link; two of my group members were rather talking about how we should put the prompt into ChatGPT. 20 minutes passed; still nothing, so I decided to create a Google Meet myself, and they all joined. We divided the work amongst ourselves so that each person could get something to do. Personally, I don't like being asked questions on the presentation, so I chose the conclusion. All I asked was for everyone to post their part so that I could use it to finish my part. During the meeting, I told everyone they should try their best to send the drafts to me by midnight. It's only a 5-minute presentation, so 1 minute per person. It shouldn't have been hard.

The next day comes and still nothing. I send a message in the group chat reminding them, and I get left on read. Only one person sends me their part, so I'm basically forced to make do with incomplete info. The time comes, and we get chosen to present first. I was wondering how we would be able to present. Turns out they had their parts; they just chose not to share them with me for whatever reason, so a lot of the stuff they were presenting was new to me, so I had to improvise, and as you can tell, it wasn't the best it could have been. The worst part is that after we finished presenting, they proceeded to skip the rest of the class right after, so I couldn't confront them (although I'm not confrontational anyway)

For the next presentation, which is for a different course, it's not til tomorrow. However, we as a group made an agreement in our first presentation that whoever presented the first time would not present the second time, as there are only 2 presentations. That's cool right, first presentation we were all supposed to contribute drafts so that Girl A and I could present. No one decided to give their drafts except the two of us. Okay cool cool. We had a meeting, and it was only me, Girl A and Girl B who showed up. Mind you, there are 2 other guys in the group. Whilst Girl B showed up she didn't contribute much. Okay, I pay no mind. Girl A and I present and it goes well. Since we've agreed, I figured the rest would prepare for the next presentation right???!!!

As I said, it's presentation week, and the group chat is dry, so I remind them that we have a presentation. No response from anyone but Girl A, who tells them to send their parts. Still no response from any of them even though they're supposed to present. I dm Girl A about it and she tells be Girl B says she won't be presenting. I heard Girl B whisper something like that to Girl A in class but I was hoping it was maybe a joke I misheard but nooo she doesn't want to present for some reason. If it's for a legitimate reason she should inform us but since she hasn't done so, it just feels like she just doesn't want to. As for the guys I genuinely don't think they've contributed a thing to the presentation. You know what makes this worse. The professor decided to be lenient and give us an extra week to do the work. This is the extra week. They just chose to do nothing. Girl A says I should make a draft, but I'm genuinely not motivated to do so since I know if I do, the others won't make one themselves.

Later, I ask Girl B why she can't present, and she tells me she was ready last week, but we didn't listen to her, and now she is busy. I'm confused because when I asked everyone, we agreed to next week since we weren't ready. I let her know I was not aware she was ready and she should have told me, but she keeps insisting that "she made it clear" even though she legitimately didn't tell me. I find this a bit odd because she was silent when we made the final decision, but I'll assume I didn't hear her when she said it. I let her know that since she's apparently busy, she doesn't have to. She then tells me she wasn't aware that those who didn't present last time are presenting, even though she was present when we made the decision, and I have repeatedly reminded everyone in the group chat. But whatever, she says she's not presenting, so I decided that she won't. However, the other two who are supposed to present are just silent. No matter what I send in the group chat, I even mentioned them directly, but still no response. It's tomorrow

Is there any way I can avoid or better navigate situations like this?. I don't know what to do about this. Should I report this?

I constantly see myself dead

I(20f) almost constantly have thoughts of me dead but not just dying but often in bloody ways. The third POV it feels cathartic as I thrash around, stab myself and bleed everywhere it feels the pain is leaving my body. Just a beautiful image of me covered in blood and me being dead. The first POV feels more disturbing, more scary as if I actually feel my life threatened. I imagine holding my decapitated head in my hands which leads me to feel some small pain in my neck just imagining it. The imagine of me slammed by someone, shot at and repeatedly stabbed. Sometimes just have images of something simple such as seeing myself hanging or holding a knife to my neck while smiling. I’m in my bed dead blood all over with my family coming into my room discovering my body.

I’m not a masochist I do not like pain it’s perhaps the main reason along with the consequences of failing I do not proceed. I am a wretched, pathetic, useless that never should have had the right to live. There are those that indulge in their pain and insecurities by taking it out on others and seek to murder. I am not like that instead of wanting to do something so disgusting instead of murdering others I image murdering myself imagining being murdered is both a punishment and release for that.

The feeling of having insecurities triggered feels having a gun being triggered against my head. My parents never should have had me I was so much better off not existing at all. I don’t belong here but I’m stuck here until I die like the pathetic useless scum I am. I would prefer not to exist but if reincarnation is real I hope my next life is nothing like me.

I’m not having a fun time as a new young adult

I’m newly 18 and I do not like it.
In my country I am still in school, and it is test after test the workload is batshit, but on top of that I’m supposed to get a job, and do all the shit required for turning 18.
I’m also still treated like a child, no I don’t think I’m immediately grown but why am I still being spoken down to? Is it because I have autism, I promise I’m not acting like a know it all, I just think everywhere I go shouldn’t be saying “let’s ask your mummy”
Even when I applied for something it was rejected because “you’re a child it’s your mums job to..”
But then I still magically have adult responsibilities?
But seriously do not get me started on school, multiple 2 hour long tests each week, every week, on top of 20 page assignments for each class, oh but make sure to fit in a job, social life, adult responsibilities & sleep on top of all of this.
I don’t even enjoy school I’m just doing it for the highschool diploma.

I wish I could do what I want

If I didn't care about the consequences of my actions and how they could make my life harder id give into my impulses. Id hurt others. I'd tell them exactly what I think.

If im honestly I've never cared about how my actions hurt others. I only care about how my actions and their reactions could make my life harder

Also is loose every fight because im weak and fragile. It would be worth the violent acts and the constant consequences of getting my ass handed right back to me 100x harder.

I avoid hurting others feelings because their emotions are annoying to deal with

Management should communicate clearly and honestly.

If you can't communicate clearly and say what you mean, you don't have the necessary skills to be in management. If you have to rely on lies instead of handling difficult situations, you don't have the skills required to be in management and should not have that job.

Getting older is realizing that there are genuine levels to things

Recently, a Tennessee mother had shot and killed a 20-year-old man for talking to her 13-year-old daughter. Everybody's response was, reasonably, "why is a 20-year-old even pursuing a middle schooler?" and what makes it even more unfortunate is that the girl was black, and there's a lot of stigma around black girls being "fast" they're being promiscuous, so a lot of people are shifting the blame to the child rather than the man who is clearly a predator.

Before, I will just be like "another kid is a victim of pedophilia. What else is new?" but now, these types of things genuinely make me upset. Not only because a kid was robbed of her innocence, but because the man who did it is not much older than I am. I'm 19f. I am at the age where I align too closely with the perpetrators of crimes rather than the victims. People my age are actually pursuing middle schoolers. When I was younger, predators seemed like these distant 40-year-olds who were going after elementary students. Now that I'm 19, they are people who are roughly 2 months older than me going after middle schoolers. Literally an influencer who is roughly a month younger than me went to jail for having literal CSAM on his phone. C fucking SAM.

Of course, in no way shape or form will I ever in one quadrillion years pursue to a 13-year-old. I just wanna get that out of the way. I feel like Jeffrey Epstein even when I look at a 16 year-old to think "he's not an ugly guy" much less a freaking middle schooler??? It's just disturbing especially because it's too close to home now. When I was 13, I never looked at 13-year-olds being perpetrators of crimes, but rather victims. Now at 19, suddenly everybody my age wants to fuck children.

Person said if you're blind and wear glasses you're privileged

I saw a post online and this person basically said that if you're blind and need glasses you are lucky and privileged and I was scrolling through the comments and people have asked them stuff and even had conversations with them these are some things they've said

"I have glasses so I can say that it's not hard for somebody to go get glasses"

"I get my glasses for free so others can aswell"

"It's your fault if you soend 700 or more on glasses"

They said a lot of other dumb things but I just can't deal with looking at it as somebody with glasses I've never felt privileged instead I've felt envious of people who don't need glasses.

This person just screams stupid and privileged themselves.

I hate living outside of Denver

I moved outside of Denver a couple months ago and I absolutely hate it. I want to leave immediately but I’m locked into my lease for another couple of months and I just started a new job at a very good company. I have chronic migraines and they’re so much worse here. All the healthcare facilities aren’t accepting new patients when I literally only need them to refill my drugs. The roads are terrible and the drivers are even worse. It’s brown 24/7. The people here absolutely suck. It’s like you took all the Silicon Valley folks and threw them here with some flannel. The mountains aren’t even as beautiful as the PNW. The sun being out 24/7 is genuinely blinding and the heat is awful. I wish I never moved here and I can’t wait to leave ASAP. Has anyone else ever experienced this??? I’ve really tried to give it a shot and I’ve explored a lot of the state so far and I’m just so underwhelmed
